The host went out of his way to make you. Feel welcome, and at home. We offered tips on things to do and helped organize excursions. I’ve loved my stay here.

Devocean is very central - short walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Staff and service were gexcellent. Great value for money. Lucky find. I'll be returning for sure.

Because it's located on one of the principal streets of Ponta D'Ouro, you might hear the quadbikes from time to time. In a busier time of the year it can be a problem, if you're looking to sleep in.

Sean and his team were very welcoming. It was an easy check-in, and right at the beginning, he spoke about all the amenities available on the property. It's based on an honesty system, where you can help yourself at the bar and pay for what you've taken when you set the bill. The breakfast was good. We had eggs Benedict, and they were prepared as we requested. Devocean is very well located, within walking distance to the main hotspots of Ponta D'Ouro.

it would be nice to have a clearer sign outside the property and a sign indicating where to go in to reception. I would like to suggest a lock on the gate. Lots of mosquitos

It was a lovely little tropical paradise with the tents arranged in an oval among the trees and gardens with little pathways. The ablutions were clean and the gardens and walk ways were well maintained. The breakfast and supper was fantastic and personally tailored. Well done to the cooks! It had a nice lounge and dining area where we interacted with other guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful as was the owner Shaun. The bed was comfy and the tent was secure in the heavy downpour. The location is good as once at the property everything can be accessed on foot including the beach, markets and restaurants.

I had to think long and hard, and I had to dig quite deep .... maybe there can be a small dustbin in the tents.

We LOVED everything! We lived in our own little mini jungle! Starting when entering the premises after a looooooong drive, feeling quite "out of it" and extremely tired ... a wonderful smell met us, coming from the kitchen side ... it was the lovely Requel who was busy preparing meals for the guests. She is truly a star, going to the market every morning to buy FRESH ingredients or the meals ... I don't think they freeze anything, for all the meals we had, was freshly prepared. Then we met Shaun, the owner and the host ... a warm welcome indeed. We immediately helped ourselves to some drinks and started to "check out" our accommodation. I am picky with regards to a bed and with my back-challenges, I prefer a nice solid bed ... which it was! I was sooooo glad for that set the tone for my holiday ... and if I don't sleep well, everything else is a problem. THANK YOU FOR THE VERY, VERY FIRM BED ... I really appreciated that. I had a relaxing message as well, at the property. The rest of the staff were all so very friendly and accommodating. Even the other guests were approachable and we made lots of new friends. So very glad and grateful to everyone at this venue ... I highly recommend it!

A private fridge in the tent would be nice, but I think they have them in the chalets.

The breakfast was amazing there are different options. A short walk from the beach and very safe as it is right next to the police station. The rooms are beautiful and there is ample shade from the trees.

It’s an oasis… Good food and awesome host! Staff friendly and our tent was lovely…we were there in the heat of December and the tent was cool and comfortable. Loved it and already booked our next stay! Thanks Sean and staff! See you again soon!

The mosquitoes!! Could have done with somewhere to hang wet beach towels etc. In the rain The cottage got a bit damp and dank.

A heavenly green oasis of cool and calm on a hot day. Loved the family vibe of the place. The staff are just lovely - and extremely good cooks! Lots of info about the area provided when booking. Close to almost everything in Ponta.
