Having to book tables at the restaurants for meals as a hotel guest. The upper age limit ot the classification of a child varied.

Well maintained for its size. Lots of facilities & activities. Great location- even though it was far from town, you could access via the free shuttle services. Good effort to try and keep the beachfront clear of rubbish (unfortunately debris seems unavoidable on most beaches today),

The members of staff were very accommodating. Wellfoe was aware I was entitled for a room upgrade so he made it possible. How efficient! The satay was amazing! Bonnie the chef gave us some brilliant suggestions. Well done, guys!

The Eighth restaurant sucks. I can't believe any restaurant will let customers wait for more than 20mins per dish. The food waiting time is so long that every table is grumbling publicly🤣

Excellent facilities and comfortable room at the Ocean Wing. Left an unbelievable sunset view in the 5th floor's room. I met many helpful guys here, like Angel at the front and Andy at the Jungle hiking center, thx a lot!

This property is amazing. The San Pan bar was a great place to watch the sunset with happy hour cocktails and beers. Our room was fantastic with a bath on the balcony with a day bed to rest on after a big day exploring the jungle and beach. The food in all the restaurants was fresh and tasty. The seafood banquet was a highlight. The spa had a lot of treatments on offer. I had a massage which was very relaxing. We had a great experience at the resort.

If I was a perfectionist I think the cocktails could be improved. My cocktail felt quite watered down. For a five star hotel the cocktails should be better.

Lovely room, great setting and amazingly friendly staff. For a big resort hotel I was amazed how friendly the staff were and how many could remember your name. Edith on the front desk and Pernia in the buffet restaurant were especially good.

The cleaning of the room could have been a bit more detailed oriented but overall not really anything negative to say.

The room in the ocean wing was spacious, with a wide and comfortable bed. The terrace with the bathtub really adds up to the experience. The breakfast was great, the swimming pool very enjoyable for a family with small kids. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and friendly. And the beach was amazing to watch the sunset.

The breakfast although has many wonderful choices but it lacked flavour or something. Shangri La Rasa MUST have a dish or two which is truly outstanding even at breakfast which will make the hotel stand out with the guests. The wafflesi will were ok. Croissant were slightly below ok. Dim sum, sausages, hash browns were so so. Omelette as well.

Facilities was superb but what made it exceptional were the staff. From Lionel at the front desk all the way to the concierge, coffee terrace and all the concierge were truly warm, friendly and very professional. I felt like each and every staff there not only works there but felt like they own a piece of the business. Any 5 or 6 star resort can have the most beautiful premise but if the staff fails, everything fails. Kudos to all the staff in Rasa Ria who our stay an exceptional one.

Can't close the blind properly to have privacy when in the jacuzzi. Due to strong wind And the lift bit far from our room. We get 2nd last room
