Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI didn’t care for the smell in the bathroom next to the Buffett it had a very overpowering smell.
The property was well laid out with the restaurants and buffet and bars and pool. There were many things to do.

United StatesI don’t like the Asian restaurant. We ordered and shared a lot of food amongst ourselves so all the food comes out at once and fill the table. No space for our own plate. FYI, Wait time for about over 1 hr for the most popular restaurants so leave your name on the waitlist early.
Short distance to the beach. I love the burgers and most of the restaurants. The 2 pools are nice. Walking distance to the local markets and the mall on opposite direction. Easy access to the bus right in front of the hotel. Bring a lot of $1 bills.

United StatesLack of entertainment. Could have set up card games, or trivia nights. Compete and meet other families. Bingo… anything for entertainment. The Azul restaurant was just terrible. Food lacked flavor, too much sauce in the pad Thai dish almost like soupy and lacked flavor. Spring roll was ok but needed to be filled a little more. Sauce was not a good taste. More gluten free options. Fried rice should be an option. More seafood options.
Everything was so close to our rooms and convenient. Food for the most part was good. Loved that I could get a chai latte.

United StatesIt seemed like a salesperson approached us every 30 minutes for something, even when at the cabana. That was my time to relax but it kept getting interrupted by a hard sale for a massage or to book another day at the cabana. The food was not great at all. The crab cakes had more shells than crab in them. The steak and burgers tasted like a Salisbury steak. The buffet food was mainly dried out and tasteless. I definitely would not recommend the food to anyone. The drinks were watered down, all I tasted was sugar. After the first day, I stuck to water, I didn’t want to waste the calorie intake on drinking juice. The massage was okay. I did feel a little uncomfortable that the massage therapist had her phone in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

United StatesIf we had to note a few drawbacks, we would have liked to see more variety in the dinner options and a few more shaded seating areas around the pool. We also happened to be there during seaweed season, which made the beach experience less enjoyable—but we understand that’s out of the resort’s control and will plan around it in the future.
We had such a great experience during our stay at Wyndham Alltra! From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast options were delicious and varied, which made mornings easy and enjoyable. We especially loved starting our day with a stop at the coffee bar. The poolside taco bar was a highlight for daily lunches! The entertainment crew deserves a big shoutout. They kept the energy going all day and night with fun activities, music, and shows that had both kids and adults engaged. Speaking of kids, ours had an amazing time enjoying the water slides and visiting the sweets shop—it quickly became a daily stop. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway that checked all the boxes for our family. We’ll definitely be back!

MexicoRooms are not very comfortable, very little space to put clothes, the bathroom is also small. The service at the kids pool is non-existent (1 person would come by every 3 hours), restaurants are also very slow. Also, the kids camp is very limited for specific ages or time slots where you can be there with your kids
The pools for the kids are nice, food and beverage is good

United StatesMisinformation about leisure packages. Everything was extremely expensive. The staff approached me so many times, becoming inconvenient and annoying. The hotel needed some room update. The sliding doors were old. Furnitures also old fashioned and simple. Very basic for a VIP room.

1) the room! Swim-up and the the sea view is great 2) food is good! Fruits, taco station, bebidas 3) water color is amazing 4) the service, Rodrigo (bellboy capitan) and beach bar guys! 5) the hammock on the terrace, swings at the beach bar 6) we love playing corn-hole! 7) a family of iguanas

BulgariaThere was not much choice in the buffet and the food in the a-la-carte restaurants was not the best; although the hotel rules state that visitors cannot put their towels on the sunbeds all of the ones under the shadow were reserved every day and the staff didn't do anything to prevent this (the shaded beach area was not very big as well)
The staff was very friendly and supportive; the room was good but a little outdated; the animation team was nice

ItalyIt is a small resort so not a lot of room for the amount of people staying. Every morning by 8am all the chairs by the pools were 'reserved' with no people in sight so if you wanted to swim and have a chair it is impossible unless you wake up at 6am to reserve one with a towel for yourself. We even complained to a worker that there is not one chair available even though there were no people actually present but nothing changed. Access to the kids club for kids needing supervision is only during certain hours.
The food was amazing. The best I have had at an all inclusive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night entertainment was very good. The kids facility is offers a lot of variety and fun for them. It is a small resort if that is what you are looking for.
