It took 3 days to repair a leakage in the bathroom of my colleague

The Spa is looking tired with chipped walls and grubby edges, old nail polish used too. The therapist was satisfactory. In our room the bath plug once used could not be extracted! Despite advertising bathrobes and slippers none were provided.

Having stayed at Latitude 13 in Lusaka, the Lilongwe sister resort is far larger. Exquisite decor too. Prices similar to other Malawi establishments. Food was exceptional! Room exquisite. The city tour booked was exceptional.

Meals took a loooooong time to come after ordering! They didn’t have lactose free milk! They also didn’t have Goat and Tilapia Fish from Lake Malawi (as advertised), other than that the food was good.

We booked a 2 bedroom appartment we were initially given one because apparently they have the two bedroom to someone else I was travelling with young children, my children were horrified to see a naked picture of a woman on the wall , I felt humiliated and angry that my children were exposed to this . We were later given the option of 2 lower cost appartment . The toilet was brown inside as in the picture . Considering the amount of money we paid it was disappointing

The glass "ceiling window/floor" was cracked making it extremely risky from the bedroom level. Did noy enjoy the outdoor balcony as I didn't want to risk walking across the glass "ceiling window/floor"

Unique ambiance in a boutique hotel feel. We enjoyed the unusual decor. The air conditioning unit in the second room we stayed in (different stays) was not working well, although the stay was comfortable. The shower design does not include a shower door or curtain, which made it challenging to keep the water from splashing onto the bathroom floor.

The Garden Suites could do with a little bit of maintenance. The suite also had a leaking air conditioner. The wi-fi connection in the Garden Suites was also very weak.

Well located boutique hotel. The Garden Suites are very spacious with a tranquil garden view.

Speed of service at breakfast. More attention was required regarding room preparation. Some basic things were missing which we had to ask for - eg room only prepared for one occupant but we had booked for two guests; safe had to be fixed

The service in the restaurant was not satisfactory. I was constantly having to ask for things. There were a lot if staff standing around doing nothing. There was/is a nail sticking out of the arm of my chair which I I damaged my blouse on. The chair was changed but was moved to another table. The next morning the same chair was offered for me to sit on. This chair should not be operational but the staff seemed not to care. I am a returning guest and I usually get a great service but this stay was not so good . Maybe you have new staff

Maintenance issues: Our toilet got clogged, and the shower didn't drain on first use. Some basic details in the room that could have been picked up with attentive regular checks: nails sticking out of floor panels, sharp edges to glass table tops, unobservable low steps to bathroom that cause toe bumps. Service: Kitchen breakfast service was a bit too slow - we had to set our table ourselves, and some items ordered took very long. Dinner service was much better.

Loved the decor - really nice!! Well located in Lilongwe. The gym is also very, very well equipped. Loved it. Ample parking. Pretty garden. Rooms also nicely set up. Dinner and drinks menu is good. The whole setup is placid, upmarket, and comfortable. The booking, reservation, and transfer process was very smooth!
