The Internet was inconsistent at times.

There was a small leak from the toilet but I reported it on check out and they said they would get it fixed straight away.

I loved my stay at Casa Mia. Iv stayed here before but this time was even better. The dining room has been done up even nicer and my room was very comfortable and spacious. I love the food here too and there’s a great menu! The location is just a short walk from the city and very convenient. Check in and out was very fast and easy, important after a busy day. I will definitely continue to stay here when in Blantyre next.

We had a problem with the safe, which the staff resolved but the sticking lock reoccurred, we just didn't use it for the rest of our stay and reported it on leaving. This wasn't a major issue but maybe following up on such things would be helpful.

The staff were exceptional, they couldn't do enough for you. Witness, Nancy and Naomi are an asset to the hotel, they have excellent customer service skills. Breakfast was always good, plenty of choice and high quality. When went out to Majete early one day and Naomi organised a breakfast for us due to leavinv early, this was much appreciated. We ate in the restaurant six out of seven evenings and we enjoyed everything we got, especially the chocolate mousse and the Chambo.

Casa Mia is a lovely place to stay. Everything was wonderful, from the staff to the food and surroundings. A short walk away from the centre of Blantyre which means you can access the bustle and enjoy the peace at the hotel. Gardens are lovely and well kept. Rooms are high quality and the beds are so very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

The mosquito net didn’t work (i.e. it wouldn’t slide on the rail) but spray was provided and actually I didn’t see any mosquitoes.

The hotel was a 12-minute walk from my conference venue (Sunbird). Breakfast was great, I loved the ambience (I was there during the Christmas season). It was very hot at the time but the air con worked just fine. What I really appreciated was that the hotel was very helpful with calling me taxis to bring me back to the hotel (not just from the hotel). I didn't have any kwacha, but the hotel agreed to put my taxi bills on my account so I didn't have to worry about how I was going to pay for the taxi!
