Room lighting a bit dark for my taste. Snorkels need replacing.

Beautifully situated, lovely open air dining terrace by the sea. Rooms lovely with Mosquito netting on each bed. Bathrooms nicely appointed and provisioned. Arranged drives and snorkeling on the lake for us. Staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Lovely live music on true Terrace.

The toilet was awful, very inconvenient to enter as everything was cramped. We cannot reach the commode easily crossing the wash basin and bath tub, it's so narrow and congested. The House keeping and maintenance staff were pathetic, they needed an hour and three phone calls just to replace a non-operational hot water kettle in the room. AC was not working, the staff could not repair it, hence slept whole night in the heat, just like in a non AC room.

The workers are rude working as if they don’t want Breakfast was really bad burnt sausage burnt burger pattie chicken was dry and funny taste was disastrous the only thing good was the fish really good and fresh but the breakfast was really nightmare mare and the welcome was bit warm I had to wait for almost 40 minutes for them to finally take me to the room

I have been charged twice for the stay, I am having problems getting my refund. Be careful if you go here. Or don't go. They have tried to make me buy stuff from the bar to cover the refund. Very dishonest location. Stay away.

I was not able to travel there the day of booking. The staff refused to contact Booking to request a cancellation and refund. Then 2 days later I was finally able to travel there. So I asked if I at least could ise the beach for free. (Because I had already paid 80$ without staying there) Then they even wanted to charge me to use the pool. (Maybe 80$ profit was not enough for them) But after seeing how the beach looked like, dirty, small, and under construction… I decided to leave within 1 min. (A couple of km further is a much nicer beach, and they are more friendly, and for free) After contacting Booking myself, I found out thst they requested the refund, but the hotel never approved!! Great!!

The management are very misleading if this is a 4 star rating. Lots of poor service focus for example 1. Over a weekend when people are relaxing management is tell staff to shovel clay and build steps in front of the only sun loungers a view to the lake. This should be done at a time when there are not guests sitting there! 2. No water made available in the buffet breakfast and when asked was told my management that ‘no one in the world drinks water at breakfast time’. 3. Rooms are dark and badly lit. Impossible to read. These are some of the money first and hotel guest second approaches .

The road leading up to property is disappointing as dirt road is very uneven. Menu is not extensive for vegetarians and the vegetarian dishes are mainly Indian.

There was nothing not to like

Blue water is such a beauty ,offering a gentle and calming atmosphere .It is 50m from a sand beach filled with great views .I highly recommend if you need a luxurious relaxing break.Its so peaceful and very intimate .Their staff are amazing offer great customer service.Rooms are clean and comfortable .
