While my room was centrally located on the island, I found getting around to other areas quite challenging due to a recent foot injury. The resort does not offer a golf cart or buggy service like others do which is something to keep in mind when booking for those with mobility issues or other physical concerns. While most of the staff were friendly, I did find some of the reception team could be more attentive and accommodating. I experienced a couple of long waits when trying to get information about tours, and the checkout process was impersonal. Also, on checkout, it is useful to check the final bill carefully. I found incorrect charges that increased my bill total, although they were eventually corrected.

The majority of the staff at the resort were warm, welcoming, and consistently friendly. I was especially impressed by my room attendant and dining attendant — both were fantastic. My garden room was spacious and comfortable. Although it showed some signs of age and wear, it was spotlessly clean and serviced twice daily, which I really appreciated. The location was very good — quiet, close to the dining area, and with a lovely garden outlook. That said, next time I would definitely book a beachfront room, as the views of the water from those rooms were beautiful. I opted for the full-board package, which included all three meals at the buffet. The variety and quality of the food were excellent, and the rotating theme nights added an extra layer of flavor to an already impressive selection. Kudos to the chefs and kitchen staff. The beaches surrounding the island were absolutely beautiful and offered excellent snorkelling right off the shore. I also joined several morning snorkelling excursions and was incredibly lucky to see whale sharks, a large group of manta rays, turtles, and dolphins. The boat crew was highly professional and made each trip smooth and safe. One of my favorite spots on the island was the adults-only pool area. It had a beautiful outlook, was always peaceful, and featured a nearby bar for drinks and light food. I especially appreciated the absence of music from the bar — just the sounds of the ocean and palm trees made it a relaxing space. Overall, it was an enjoyable and rejuvenating stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Vilamendhoo resort. The island is absolutely beautiful – white sand truly Maldivian beaches, crystal-clear water, and stunning views. The house reef was a highlight, it’s just a short swim from the beach and full of colorful fish and coral. We were lucky to see baby sharks, sea turtles, and stingrays while snorkeling. The hotel itself was great too, the room was fresh, spacious, and clean. The hotel stuff was friendly and helpful. Food at the buffet restaurant had a good variety every day, and the desserts were especially delicious! Overall, it was a relaxing and magical experience. Highly recommend.

Great resort! Stayed in standalone beach villa. Very comfortable and clean. Furniture is in a good condition. Can see management maintain the resort well. Often, in other Maldivian resorts have seen furniture looking a bit worn, but at Vilamendhoo it was in a good condition across the resort. Excellent food! Buffets were great and menu changed daily. Really delicious. Fantastic staff across the resort. Friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the Sunset Bar post daily diving activity. Lovely adults only area. Euro-divers run the dive operations at the resort. We had a great experience diving with them.

Excellent service, food, and the size of the resort make it ideal for anybody looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in a beautiful tropical setting. Very safe swimming, great corals and fish, and no jellyfish or mosquitoes.

Our stay at Vilamendhoo Resort was simply unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was absolutely spectacular: spacious, comfortable, and with stunning views that we enjoyed every single day. The buffet food was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. We especially loved that every dinner had a different theme, which kept things exciting and allowed us to try lots of different dishes throughout our stay. Snorkeling at the resort was truly breathtaking — we spent hours in the water exploring the amazing reef and marine life. The excursions were also fantastic, and the Ocean Discovery tour was definitely our favorite! Another thing we really appreciated was the resort’s app, which made it super easy to book excursions and check all the information we needed during our stay. Plus, the Wi-Fi connection worked perfectly, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we felt the value for money was excellent. The only small downside was that our flights were delayed both on the way there and back, but that was out of the resort’s control and didn’t take away from our amazing experience. We highly recommend Vilamendhoo, and we’d love to come back someday!

I did not like so much the open bathroom as it was always full of ants and mosquitos at night. Moreover, I think the AIP package is a bit too expensive compared to the full board (+124$ for person is a lot). We couldn’t drink and eat enough to make AIP package worthwhile…I would suggest to include maybe a discount on the excursions and spa or some further included experience (such as a dinner at the hot rock restaurant, free snorkeling equipment rental, 1time jet ski experience or anything else that could justify such an higher price). The gym is quite small and maybe would need a restyling as it is the only indoor activity and it was very crowded in the rainy days.

The Resort is very nice and well maintained and the beaches are amazing. There is plenty of space and privacy and you never feel that the place is overcrowded. The villas (we had the beach one) are not luxury, but very spacious and clean. The House reef is wonderful, you just need to have a swim out of your villa and you can see tons of fishes and corals. The food was good, with quite a variety to chose from with many different cuisine proposals (Chinese, Maldivian, Italian etc) The bars offer a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages. The staff was always ready with a smile, making our time enjoyable.

Eurodivers is not PADA acreddited, compared to other offerings in the Maldives for diving, they are not great. There has to be trust between you as dive buddies (I.e me and my wife) and the dive centre and its staff, they failed on every level.

The island itself was beautiful, this was our 5th Maldivian island(9th trip), it was stunning, with so much to offer for all visitors. The offering of restaurants and bars were perfect, Asian wok as part of the all inclusive package was amazing every time, 5 stars doesn’t do it justice.

The coral is not very well.

Different delicious food and various taste and fruits are provided daily. Many beautiful fish and big fish on the reef. The infinity swimming pool is very good and comfortable.

Lots of detailed exclusions in the “All Inclusive Plus” package were annoying at times.

Beautiful location with attentive and friendly staff. Excellent snorkeling with tons of fish on the house reef, which is slowly recovering from its most recent bleaching. Reasonable value by Maldives standards.

Beautiful resort, comfortable beds, helpful staff. We had full board and were very happy with choices and amounts supplied. Gala dinner was spectacular. Stayed at Garden Villa- although not on the beach , privacy and proximity to restaurant and reception was a bonus. Reef is very easy to access with abundant fish and some eagle rays. We did whale sharks by speed boat and turtle excursions which were both very good. Activity guides made our experience exceptional.
