Nice staff, breakfast is ok but basic. Room is clean and good shower.

Partial seaview room means building view, not worth it! Make sure u book a seaview room. We didnt complain, but hotel not full, they could have given us a seaview room.

Very good position with open view on east of the island to the reef. Very kind personnel for dining, always caring about needs. The pool view is amazing. We joined activities and excursions offered by the hotel, very efficient and easy to get pictures afterwards.

Maafushi is an island under construction. Lot of new buildings with construction in progress and, not sure if due to that, the water in the east part of the island was quite dirty due to brown discharge on water. This is not due to hotel of course!

Breadfast and the meals are so good. And the staffs of restaurant are so polite and provide the nice service. The location of the Triton is located at the beach. we can have a leisure walk after the dinner.

I booked the seaview room, but actually the room is not facing the sea. we just can have a side glance at the seaview from balcony. At the beginning when we arrived, we feel a little bit disappointed. However, after we settled down, we can find Triton is cozy quiet for us, not crowded and not noisy. So, generally speaking, Triton is a good hotel to worth recommending to friends.

The restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. The tour staff as well. Great guys. Most, though certainly not al of the reception staff as well. The room (we had the the luxe family or something room) was large but kind of made with cheaper materials. Not 4 star worthy, maybe on the lower end of 3 star. Maafushi seems to be a good choice to arrange tours and to sleep or shop, but for the rest, without doing a tour everyday it is not recommended to stay there.

The food, both breakfast and dinner was very, very basic and limited in choice. This was not at 4 star level at all, not even 3 stars, although the freshly fried eggs were a positive exception. Be aware the restaurant staff is very, very underpaid. They are all migrant workers and get about 2 free days a month and a salary of about 1 USD an hour (they work from 6;30 AM till 22:00 PM !, with a long 4 hour break. So be royal with tips. Although the room itself was nice , the sea view was mediocre, only to one side and overlooking a garbage belt and construction sides, so not a good view at all. The organization of the tours was chaotic mainly due to the reception. The tour guides themselves were great.

1- Refrigerator was not working then replaced next two day (new one cooling but ice melt when leave the room as no power card). Free water replaceable bottles provided but only one each day (supposed one for each adult). 2- Bed springs cause uncomfortable sleeping in room 704 (long usage required replacement). 3- Too noisy DJ during five hours late evening organized by hotel restaurant cause horrible pain to ears & brain.

The restaurant service was good

The service they give me is not fine because I paid $15 for my photo shoot they don’t even pick my phone and they don’t give me the photos. I tried a lot of times and wrote them. They didn’t give any answer and I am calling again and again no response from the authority . That charge $15 for drone shoot. They took the money and they don’t even bother. They don’t even contact with me and they don’t give me the pictures and videos. we did it in 12th August now this is 15 August and if they cannot give me the photos or videos I want my money back $15.

Staff are so good. I arrived in the late night, and they packed dinner box and delivered to my room. Also when I checked out in the morning and went out for fish tank activity, they gave me a shower room at the spa center for free. They also arranged special setting for Friday dinner on the beach with live music. The services are so good and far beyond my expectations.

I stayed at Triton Seaview Maldives for a short vacation. The location is definitely a highlight—right by the beach with lovely sea views. The rooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. However, I found the stay a bit overpriced for what was offered. The food options were quite limited, especially if you're staying for more than a couple of days. There aren’t many varieties to choose from, which made meals feel repetitive. While the staff were generally polite and the rooftop pool was a nice feature, I feel the overall experience could be improved, especially in terms of dining and value for money.

Our stay at Triton Prestige Seaview & Spa in Maafushi was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and island charm. The sea-view rooms were stunning, the rooftop pool was a great place to unwind, and the spa treatments added a refreshing touch of relaxation to our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Thode, who manages the entire property with genuine care and professionalism. His attention to detail and guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay and set a truly welcoming tone for the entire experience. What truly stood out were the excursion tours and water sports arranged by the hotel. We went on several well-organized trips, including snorkeling adventures where we swam alongside sea turtles, colorful reef fish, and even reef sharks. The underwater visibility was amazing, and the guides were knowledgeable and attentive to safety. We also enjoyed kayaking over the calm, turquoise waters – a peaceful and scenic activity that let us explore the lagoon at our own pace. On the more adventurous side, we tried jet skiing, parasailing, and an exciting fun tube ride – all of which were handled by a friendly and professional team using high-quality equipment. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful reception staff who were always welcoming and ready to assist. Special appreciation to Iqbal and Asif, the restaurant waiters, for their attentive service and warm hospitality that made each meal feel special. And a big thank you to Head Chef Noor Muhammad, whose delicious and beautifully prepared meals truly elevated our dining experience. Triton Prestige didn’t just provide a place to stay – it delivered a full Maldives experience. From thrilling water adventures and memorable excursions to peaceful sunsets, amazing food, and heartfelt hospitality, everything was beyond expectations.

*“The hotel itself was overall clean and quiet. By ‘quiet’ I mean that the hotel didn’t produce any disturbing noise on its own – no loud music or internal disturbances – which I appreciated. However, keep in mind that Maafushi is still under a lot of construction, so you’ll constantly hear drills and construction noise from the surrounding area. The rooms are very small – for me, they were insufficient in terms of space and comfort. The rooftop pool is also quite small. It’s good for a photo or a quick refresh, but definitely not suitable for actual swimming. On the bright side, the staff was extremely kind and helpful throughout the stay.”**

What didn’t you like? The absolute worst part of this hotel was the food. Breakfast was laughable. On an exotic island, I would expect at least papaya, mango or banana – instead, they served only watermelon every single day, occasionally swapping in an apple or orange. That’s just pathetic for a four-star hotel. They try to fill guests up with carbs: some kind of greasy noodles, bland rice, or unbalanced dishes with zero nutritional value. When they did serve meat, it was so badly cooked it felt like chewing a shoe sole. And despite being on an island, fish dishes were completely missing – not even grilled tuna or local seafood. All we got was beef or chicken drowned in heavy cream sauces. The whole atmosphere, decor, and presentation make it look like a luxury hotel, but once you get to the actual food on your plate – the core of what you paid for – it’s simply not there. Nowhere near four-star quality. We paid for breakfast and dinner, but ended up eating elsewhere most of the time because other places actually offered value for money. Last year we stayed at another Triton property, a 3-star one, and even though the room there was a disaster, they at least served papaya with the watermelon. That alone says something about the Triton brand’s supposed prestige – it’s just not convincing.

What a beautiful hotel to stay. We had the room overlooking the sea. Stunning, spacious and very comfortable. What really made our stay special were the staff. Super attentive. So friendly and kind . Nothing was too much trouble.. we had a lovely romantic meal on the beach Asif was our waiter. He looked after us we felt very special. Chouto was an amazing member of staff. He looked after us every time he saw us. He was super friendly and such a kind soul. The staff would definitely make us return here again. They even saw us off the island when we left 😊. Nothing not to like. It was perfect

Clean and well maintained property. Most of the staff were cooperative.

Check the pictures before you book the room. Our room description said it’s a sea view room however it was not sea facing and the sea was visible from the balcony. This took us a bit of time to discuss with the management who gave us an option to upgrade the room by paying for extra amounts. After much discussions the hotel gave us a room on the higher floor and the view was a bit better from it.

The staff they are very kind , they make you feel comfortable specially if you are traveling here for the first time , also the food is delicious and was well served by a professional team
