The resort is a great place, beautiful, peacefull, quite... Is a small peace of paradise! I were in a villa water House with private infinity pool and was really wonderfull. We can see turtles, sharks, mantas, colour fishes...all for your room. Wake Up and swiming in the sea is a dream. The service are really friendly and kind, in special Balaso, Febin and Bipin in the restaurant are like a small family, always smailing and take care me and my kids with love and patient. Off course we Will came back Maldives and choose Sun Siyan Olhuveli. Thank for help us to live a dream here! I did a massage in the SPA and was wonderfull. You can see mantas, colou fishes during your massage because you have a botton glass and os really fantastic! Everything in the hotel is like a dream.

Overall the staff was super attentive and helpful, but some of them (including hosts who you interact with more often) do not speak English very well which leads to some misunderstandings.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a water villa with amazing views and you can snorkel right there around the villas, although there is much more variety of fish close to the Dive Centre. The hotel is very peaceful with a lot of beautiful places to just enjoy the surroundings and relax , great variety of beach bars and restaurants. Food at the restaurants was quite good.

From the moment we arrived at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, we were blown away by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness of the staff. Every single person we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and it’s the little details—a friendly smile, remembering our preferences, thoughtful touches in the room, a beautifully tailored shirt—that made it all so special. HUGE shoutout and thank you to Siraj and Hasnain. They went above and beyond checking on us daily—making us feel like the only guests at the resort. The resort itself is pure paradise. The beaches are pristine with powder-soft white sand and turquoise waters that look like they’ve been photoshopped. Sunsets here are nothing short of magical, with views that take your breath away every evening. The amenities are top-notch. The dive centre is excellent, with knowledgeable guides like Baracks, who make every excursion exciting and safe. The spa is a true sanctuary—peaceful, beautifully designed, and staffed by talented therapists—especially Rada, who know how to melt every bit of stress away. We also loved the fun daily activities, especially the Treasure Hunt, which was such a creative and memorable way to explore the island, and the “secret” Sundowner Popup Bar, which showed up on different beaches with the personable bartender, Pao, to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. There was always something to do, whether you wanted adventure or relaxation. The buffet was a daily highlight—an incredible variety of cuisines with something for every taste, from made-to-order omelets to international favorites to lots of ice cream and other sweet treats. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Sun Siyam Olhuveli isn’t just a gorgeous resort—it’s a place where the service, amenities, and experiences come together to create a bucket list experience.

Not staying long enough. Leaving.

Speechless. From the moment we step foot in the island, we fell inlove. Everything was amazing. The staff was smiling, greeting us warmly. The food was good. Our room has a nice access and view of the sea with cool breeze. I had the best birthday surprise, it was a vacay well spent. Shoutout to Mansoor and the staff for taking care of us. Absolutely love to come back here soon.

It was bit too crowded this time, even with new swimming pool, was a challenge to find a spare place for the family. But then again, considering great ‘value for money’, it’s understandable that occupancy is very high.

We again had wonderful family vacation at Olhuveli, staying in Grand water Villa. Enjoying the privacy of our terrace and beautiful ocean around. All facilities are close by, restaurant, activities….Many thanks to entire team who took wonderful care of us, from restaurant team to the rooms cleaning (they do it twice a day, which is really extra mile). Special thanks to Hasnain, who made sure that oat milk is available each morning for our cappuccino, which was super nice touch. We appreciate everything team is doing to make our vacation stay memorable. Hope we’ll visit again soon.

This was our second time staying at Olhuveli, and it was just as amazing as we remembered. We stayed in a Grand Water Villa with beautiful ocean views and direct access to the water — absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay. The resort offers plenty of activities and facilities, making it ideal for both couples and families. The snorkeling spot felt like being in an aquarium! We had the chance to see sharks, a turtle, and a variety of colorful fish. Special thanks to the reception staff who helped with our room request on the second day, ensuring a smooth start to our trip. It was also a pleasure meeting Dain, who kindly shared her love for Korea — thank you for your warm hospitality. We’re very grateful to Eka, who kept our villa clean and always checked in to see if we needed anything. Also, big thanks to our host Yousif for being so helpful throughout our stay. The welcome fruits and drinks, as well as the farewell drinks, were a lovely gesture from both the resort and Yousif. We truly enjoyed our time at Olhuveli and hope to return within a year or two.

I didn't like the fact that the electric cars were running at speed on the pontoon, creating vibration and strange noises. I didn't like that the cleaning staff washed the glasses in the room in the bathroom. The extra bed was not comfortable.

I liked the island, which was connected to 2 other islands by bridges and so you could use the facilities of all the islands. I liked that for my wife's birthday, he offered us cake, flowers and sparkling wine. I liked the accommodation, which was a house on the water with a pontoon and its own pool, a pontoon where all kinds of marine species came

Had an amazing time with the family at Sun Siyam Olhuveli Resort, Maldives! Huge thanks to Ms. Ippu for quickly sorting all our restaurant bookings and activities – she made everything super easy. Ms. Sara at the dive centre was awesome and made scuba diving such a fun experience. And Anatoly was fantastic on the whale excursion – great guide and an amazing photographer! The food was delicious with so many restaurant options, and the staff all around were just brilliant. House keeping staff were amazing making sure our water Villa was spick and span Highly recommend!

We stayed at a water villa, it was very quiet (around 50 other people) on our island which was perfect. We stayed at Sun Siyam Romance and the food was amazing. The head chef, Walid, went out of his way to cater to our needs.

We stayed at Romance Villa where only adults are allowed. Since it’s quite distance, perhaps you may consider to provide bicycle for us. It will be safe a lot of our time to explore.

Many things are charged separately and not included in the already huge room rent so has to keep this thing in mind before going. One very important is the mandatory booking of speed boat for the round trip that charge USD 250 per person which is huge and comes as a shock only when you done with booking the resort, that was a real turn down about this property.
