United KingdomI had booked 2 deluxe double rooms with terrace with single occupancy, which I was never told was a problem or couldn't be done, months in advance. Upon arrival they wanted to give us 2 different rooms, without terrace, smaller bathroom and one on the roof where the terrace looked like a construction site. Upon showing my booking and insisting on those rooms we got one of the rooms we booked and a similar one the next day. Although the 2nd one had been empty. They just tried to give it to a couple first before offering it to me. Not something you want to deal with when arriving for a relaxing holiday. This should not be necessary but better confirm you're getting the rooms you actually booked.
Lovely room with terrace out front which is the reason I booked this hotel and those particular rooms. After our boat couldn't go to Male because of rough seas and we asked if Natasha could help us get off the island. She called her contacts and found a group who'd chartered a boat to the nearest airport and even managed to get us 2 tickets on the flight that day. It all became a bit rushed and she got it all done. That was great. Dip, a staff member was very friendly and helpful. The guys doing the boat tours with us were also awesome. They looked after my elderly mum on the snorkeling trips.

Peru-One night, at midnight, a man opened my roomdoor, i screamed and he apologized and left. Apparently (so, the owner told me when i asked her for explanations)he was the owners father trying to show two guests a room. However, they should be more careful with such an important issue. -last two days there was no warm water in the shower.
Comfortable spacious room with a nice view to the yard. Also, Rahamat Ali (one of the employees)was very caring about guests necessities and cleanness.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was very basic, the atmosphere in the restaurant bleak. The room looks good, but the bed is really uncomfortable as the big bed has 2 matressses that drift apart. The owners do not give you the impression that you are very welcome. At first I thought all this was because it's the Maldives, but after we went to another island to a room in the same price category, we learned that Manta Dhangethi is lacking service, friendlyness, quality and comfort
Only 5 minute walk to bikini beach. Location is quit.

AustriaCommunication proved to be difficult. There is barely ever anyone there. We had booked a second snorkelling tour & expecting the same departure time as the first (since nobody said anything different or asked). The tour got moved to the afternoon which was not possible for us, so we had to find another tour on short notice. Further, I booked a speedboat through the hotel and was promised an invoice (which I needed). The said we would get it on the boat but the boat captain had never heard of such a thing. I never got the invoice, even after inquiring several times. Nobody showed up at the hotel in the morning to pick us up, even though we agreed on transportation. So we had to walk quickly with our luggage to get the speedboat in time. Otherwise we would have missed the boat & our flight. Room price turned out to be much more expensive than in my booking, apparently because of taxes that were not added. But I guess this would be booking's fault.
The place looks as advertised & is generally fine. Room is clean & AC works nicely.

NorwayGreat clean and lush green guesthouse. It is small and literally a minute away from bikini beach. The hotel has own boat and provides snorkeling and other trips. We saw mantas, coral reefs and it was amazing!

FranceVery kind owners and a very charming little hotel, very close to the beach. I appreciated the owner's arrangement with boats, honesty, and kindness. The rooms are big and with great windows on the garden. it is all on one floor, so very accessible. This is exactly what I was looking for in booking a small localy run hotel in this small island. Beach is few meters away ( one small block)

Location : although the island itself is quite small so that you can reach out to any place within 5-10mins, it is still great to be right next to the bikini beach! Staffs : All staffs are super friendly and take good care of their guests. Super easy to communicate with Manta hotel via whatsapp, booking.com messages and staffs are anyway always inside hotel. All staffs are also very on time! They pick you up on time and prepare meals as exactly you asked! Cleaness : They clean your room every day, and provide water and towers. (I heard from some ppl from other hotels that their rooms were not cleaned if they did not ask) Plus, inside the hotel is super lovely!

LatviaA very nice place to stay. People are friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, AC was working really well. Food in the hotel was delicious for good prices if ordering separately (Maldivian lunch, fried fish etc.) The bikini beach is really close. Loved that this hotel was super cozy and green - beautiful garden, and lovely chill spots on the property. Communication was fast and easy through Booking, hotel booked a speedboat for us.
