Everything!! The resort was fabulous, the food selection was great and the staff were absolutely incredible!! Such lovely and caring people. The staff made my experience a whole lot better! The snorkeling was outstanding! Along with their other activities. Saw so many sharks, sting rays, star fish and other beautiful fishes. The accommodation was absolutely stunning!! Pictures don’t do the place justice. Truly an unforgettable experience. A short seaplane ride to this beautiful accommodation. Highly recommended

Breakfast n dinner Buffet was top 10. Would be better if the hotel could arrange non-halal food items at a different corner of the buffet.

We had 5 relaxing days on the over water villa. We walked to breakfast and dinner, enjoyed the white sand beaches and did sunset yoga. We also did the manta ray quest and nurse shark tour.

The timbers on the boardwalk to our water villa were obviously aged and in need of repair, which meant that we needed to wear shoes to/from our vila. It appears that you are replacing the worst of the timbers progressively, however would suggest that this may need some accelerated actions. Also, we noted that a number of the water villa were in need of external repainting which does tend to make the units look a bit tired. After speaking with the Manager, we understand that there is work underway to stimulate new coral growth in the lagoon area. This is a positive step as the snorkelling experience around your resort was not as enjoyable as the experience which we had at another nearby (Vilamindhoo) report, with factors such as stronger wave action/less impressive coral being a natural factor which Outrigger needs to overcome.

The Staff were extremely friendly and kind, taking special actions (birthday message on our bed, champagne in the evening) to make it a very special holiday. Really appreciated the staff attempting to use our names when they greeted us, this was a very nice touch. Aliya was brilliant and very helpful.

Just coming home

The trip was to celebrate my honeymoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. Maldives alone is already a dream, but choosing this resort for that special date made all the difference! We were welcomed by the employees and manager of the place, all very polite, they called us by name and always had a smile on their faces. We got several honeymoon treats and everything was perfect. I would like to highlight the names and service of Adam, our housekeeper, Moosa our Host and Chandana, waiter at Cuisine. Everyone at the resort is wonderful, but these 3 made all the difference in our stay. Thank you Outrigger for making this trip unforgettable.

Few things for possible consideration: - better alignment with seaplane company so as not to lose much time waiting in Male - room service is essential when you provide such great villas that you never want to leave from.

It was an amazing relaxing experience in a great location and with so rich sea world. Our water pool villa was in excellent state, like brand new, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our privacy, relax and great Indian food along with nice red wines of all over the world and awesome cocktails! We had also a great surprise for our 18th anniversary! We really enjoyed it :-)

Nothing to dislike, just a couple of suggestions. The staff running the excursions were very kind, professional and helpful, perhaps would be helpful to education about the wildlife we would see and how we could help to protect them going forwards. Also would be good to have palm oil friendly products in the minibar.
