The breakfast was not as nice as it used to be. There were flies on the buffet and around the restaurant, uncomfortable to eat.

Always an amazing experience with Kaani, best customer service, best tours, best location, the room had an amazing view and the bed super comfortable. Everything is perfect.

However, the big downside was the food. The breakfast buffet was really disappointing, and on our first night, since we hadn’t yet explored the island, we tried the dinner buffet and regretted it. Everything else about the hotel was very good, but the food definitely needs improvement.

We stayed at Kaani Palm Beach and really loved many things about it – the reception was warm, the room was nice, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel also has an amazing view, sunbeds right in front for Kaani guests, and a beautiful infinity swimming pool overlooking the ocean – truly gorgeous!

It didn’t bother me, but it’s worth noting that alcohol isn’t sold or permitted on Maafushi Island—you’ll need to visit a private resort if you want a drink.

I stayed here with a friend while celebrating my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond. They honored our request for a high-floor room, and the bed was beautifully decorated with “Happy Birthday” flowers—a lovely touch. The breakfast was great, and the hotel arranged plenty of activities at very reasonable prices. Its location is unbeatable—right on Bikini Beach—and one of the best things about staying in Maafushi is that, without breaking the bank, you can enjoy all sorts of affordable water sports and excursions. The hotel also offers pick-up and drop-off to the ferry or speedboats even if you haven’t booked through them. They also have an infinity pool with its stunning views.

Idk maybe language barrier but the person who is organizing the beach area like where you sit etc was a bit clueless. Couple of times he didn’t let us to sit where we wanted to sit without giving any explanation. It was just weird

The rubbish on picnic island. The tours that use it should all clean it. Floating plastic bottles in the harbour.. Eventually tourist will goes elsewhere where the environment is more respected.

Our stay at Kaani Palm Beach Hotel was truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is in the perfect location—right on the best bikini beach on Maafushi Island—with breathtaking ocean views that you never get tired of. Waking up to the sound of waves and having coffee with such a stunning backdrop was just magical. What really made our experience so memorable was the warm and welcoming staff, especially at the restaurant. From the very first day, Mr. MD Alom and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They always checked in with us during breakfast, not only to ensure we were enjoying the food but also to see how our day was going. That personal touch made all the difference. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely—relaxed, friendly, and very comfortable. Whether it was the amazing beachside views or the genuine hospitality, every moment felt special. The green tax they charge extra in the maldives , which is an extra apart from the room price. It is not specified in the inicial price and was charged upon arrival at the hotel. And this is not to critise the hotel o the staff but there were places in the island which had rubbish.

Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Picked us up from the speedboat port. Breakfast was really delicious and varios opciones . Near the bikini beach with sun loungers and hammocks for the clients. Swimming pool with stunning views . All in all it was a great stay.

I enjoyed my stay

Booked at Kaani.Slight mixup when i arrived but they were quickly called back to pick me up.The check in was smooth - The team especially Kani were so helpful.I arrived on my birthday and there was a party which really made everything perfect.Bikini beach is literally at the entrance so it was perfect for sun basking during the day.I honestly loved everything.Dinah at the restaurant was a great host - always bubbly.I had a sea view room - waking up was always a breeze.

The hotel is super clean with great customer service. The rooms are sparkling ✨. The infinity pool gives you the best view and not forgeting the excursions, i made great memories! They went an extra mile to decorate my room on my birthday!🥰 I shed tears leaving the place!!😭I couldn’t have enough, i will for sure come back!! Lounge area could have had water and toilet was unpleasantly dirty, but it was great that there was an area to have a shower and just relax before our flight home.

I loved how genuinely friendly the staff were. The two beautiful masseurs were incredible. It was the best massage ever. The location was stunning. The room was cleaned really well every day.
