The tourist beach nearby had a lot of trash from other tourists. Don't see a proper trash bin or cleaning services. Also, flies and mosquitoes are numerous at the island - it's ok but can get annoying.

Location to the beach - few minutes away. Staff will meet you at the jetty to guide you to the guesthouse. Snorkelling equipment available. Went to see manta rays, and one of the staff member stayed near me all the time as it was my first time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hitha Maldives, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was seamless. The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed to feel good. Breakfast was a highlight on the beach every morning! We also had a dinner on the beach and it was an absolut dream! The location is also perfect, centrally located, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions, yet peaceful enough to unwind at the end of the day. The sandbank and the beach next to the Hotel are also absolut dreamy! What truly sets Hitha Maldives apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, we highly recommend Hitha Maldives for anyone. We will definitely be back!

From the very first second on the island we had an absolutely pleasant stay at Hitha Maldives. We were picked up at the harbor and welcomed with a fresh coconut and self made palm leaf crown. All the people working at Hithas were kind, helpful and did their best to create the most enjoyable experience on the Maldives. The location of the hotel was by far the best on the island with a privet beach dining and hang out area and just a short walk to the tourist beach. The hotel is very comfortable and nicely designed. We definitely appreciate the tea kitchen for helping ourselves to coffee/tea and the filtered water in glass bottles.

Hitha was the best hotel we could have chosen in Omadhoo! The location is absolutely perfect, just next to paradise beach, where we would have breakfasts every morning at a table on the sand looking at the sea. They also also arrange dinners at the beach which have a magical atmosphere. What is best from Hitha is their amazing staff, they are super welcoming and helpful. They organised everything so you wouldn’t need to worry about a thing. Thanks to them we enjoyed great experiences such as sunset fishing or snorkeling excursion around different diving locations. We would definitely recommend Hitha to anyone visiting Omadhoo!

There were no issues with the hotel. The beaches (at least near the hotel) are surrounded by a large, beautiful but very shallow reef - great for snorkeling, not so great for swimming, don't expect many waves. A deeper area exists on the south side in the center of the island. Also, keep in mind that Omadhoo is a small local island: transfer boat schedules may not align perfectly with your flights and you may need to spend a night in Male at the beginning and/or end of your trip - plan ahead!

Friendly staff speaking good English, nice large rooms with a walled-in outdoor area for drying clothes, everything in good shape. Great breakfast, available to-go on request if you need to leave early for an excursion. Across the street from a local beach, and about 150m from the tourist/bikini beach. (Given the size of the island, any place can be reached within a few minutes). Drinking water is provided for free in reusable bottles. Good shower (good pressure, low flow electrically heated + high flow unheated or solar heated showerhead, but no separation between shower and bathroom so the toilet gets wet). The island itself is amazing for snorkeling or SCUBA diving and/or if you're looking for a very quiet location.

Hitha was perfect for our needs, there was nothing to dislike! This isn’t a criticism but I would suggest providing a bit more info on the diverse day trips and outings that can be booked through Hitha - we might have booked a few had we known earlier.

Our 5 night stay at Hitha was very enjoyable. The accomodation was comfortable, the location - a few minutes walk to the best swimming and snorkelling beaches - was perfect, especially for our 4 year old daughter. The breakfasts on the beach were tasty and memorable. We also booked a few delicious dinners with Hitha which were also served on the adjacent beach. The staff were communicative, helpful, kind and thoughtful. We all look forward to coming back!

The island has a lot of building which we can't blame on Hitha. The bathroom shower heads were falling apart a bit, but an easy fix.

Ahmed and his support staff we're very friendly and accommodating and it was quite special that they took us out on a day trip as well. We didn't end up seeing whale sharks, but the trip was enjoyable none the less. The wifi was good for maldives, the breakfast was as good as the view from the beach, the rooms were clean and they made us feel very special. Location was amazing close to the tourist beach, but Omadhoo is amazing and sold itself as a quiet gem.

We had an incredible stay at this guesthouse, and we cannot praise it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I recently stayed at Hitha guesthouse in Maldives and it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a nice place, where the host cares, you are right. We had a few problems with furry/transport and the staff helped us without any problems! really, we didn't thought, that somebody can be so chill, as the crew of Hitha. We had a boat trip with extremely super photos, nice places where we found turtle, sharks, all the fishes. We had a delicious breakfast at the beach and the best point was stingray feeding. People in Hitha have a lot of respect to the Mother Nature. Place is really well made, had an excellent atmosphere, really(!) good location. Truly can recommend this place!

First off, for the first three days while talking to us the staff wouldn't look at me, only at my boyfriend, I guess because of cultural norms, but it made it harder to ask questions for me. Once you get used to that, communication is still difficult. We asked to do a whaleshark tour several times and were always told it wasn't possible the next day. We asked if there was somewhere else to book it and instead of referring us to the local dive centre that apparently arranged tours, he kept saying he'd find a way. Ultimately he arranged a tour but it was with the same dive centre. He just wanted us to pay 30 dollars more than what you have to pay when you book through them directly, which we didn't do in the end because it's just not right. Why he didn't just tell us to book there is beyond me. Breakfast was good, but simply put, there wasn't enough. If you were the last one at the buffet you didn't get much. When it comes to paying it's strange, too. We had Maldevian rufiyaa but weren't able to pay with it, since he only wanted dollars. If you're not American and don't have any, like me, definitely get some. The exchange rate he offered us to pay in Rufiyaa was way worse than the official one or the one at the airport. In general everything was more expensive than advertised. There isn't really a big communal area. They have a couple of chairs outside but not enough for all the guests to sit down and relax in the evening. Also there is no view from the window in the room as opposed to what's advertised on booking.

Hitha Maldives is a clean place, and it is really close to the ocean. There is daily room service, and the room itself is spacious. They picked us up from the ferry port and walked with us to the accommodation. Breakfast was served at the beach nearby, which was really nice. You could arrange for dinner there as well. They helped arrange the transfer from and to Male. Upon arrival you get a fresh coconut and an explanation about what there is to see on the island as well as an explanation of the rules of the island. The food that was served was tasty. If you want to get in contact with the main guy working at reception you have to contact him via WhatsApp as he isn't there all the time.

Out of 5 different guesthouses on 5 different local islands, the quality of the room and food was not in accordance with the price we had to pay. Rooms: 6 There was no window in the room, the water of the shower sprays everywhere around so all becomes wet and its very noisy, you hear the people in the neigbourroom very clear. On our last night we got neighbours with 3 (!!) children so 5 people in 1 room besides us, not easy to sleep. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There are cheaper options on the island, offering the same (or better) standard. Food: 3 It was the worst and most expensive food we had on the 5 islands: cold, watery curry and paying 20 (!!!) dollar for a very small grilled fish. Breakfast was ok, but also served cold. Island Omadhoo: we got a kind of cheap charter destination feeling, larger groups, many families with small children, beachbeds side by side, loud music on the beach from a small juicebar and loud parties at night on the beach. If this is what you like, Omadhoo is the place to be. Out of 5 islands we liked Omadhoo the least, We prefer more quiet places.
