We opted for a 2 bedroom overwater pool villa, a large and comfortable family home with a living, two large bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, and with an amazing view and pool terrace overlooking endless blue waters. We were fully take care of from the moment we arrived at Velana Airport until and including our check in there for our flight back home. The whole atmosphere at Hilton Amingiri is one of friendly and high quality service. Guest Experience Manager Amine provided us with all the information we needed about activities and restaurant options, made reservations for us, and picked us up when we needed a ride. The Habitat restaurant offers the most widely thinkable range of breakfast options as well as dinner buffets. Hassan and Benjo took great care of us during various watersports activities. Evening tennis games were perfectly hosted by the staff at there. All of this in a setting of tranquil, white beaches and a picture perfect blue sea. We opted for the half board option and found this to be really pleasant and comfortable including the possibility to dine at the various restaurants at the resort.

ItalyAfter visiting several 5-star resorts around Maldives, I can assure - without any doubt - “Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa” is the best resort in Maldives. We spent 13 nights (in July/August 2025) with our family of four (two adults and two children - 10 and 12 years old). “Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa” is the quintessence of hotel hospitality. We really had an unforgettable and memorable stay. The great professionalism and the warm kindness of (all) the staff gave us fantastic experiences and amazing vibes. Since the very very beginning of our stay, we were pampered with priceless snuggles and valuable attentions that made the difference, and so during all our stay. The booking process was simple and easy: the reservation team was very kind and professional, by helping us to find the best solutions and offers, tailored to our needs. After a very painless arrival at Malè Velana Internationl Airport, passport control, baggage claim and customs, an Hilton team member met and greeted us at airport arrival hall; he accompanied us to the boat docks, across the road, just in front of airport terminal where we took an exclusive speed boat, and after an easy 25 minutes cruise we finally reached the atoll. Once we arrived on the resort island, we had the great feeling to enter in another dimension: turquoise waters, white beaches, green palms, and perfect impact zero and completely nature integrated buildings. The warm and hearted welcome of the stuff was amazing; at this moment we met Siya, our personal G.E.M (guest experience maker), a very polite and kind professional and essential figure who assisted us during all our stay, who toke care of us by realizing all our needs and fulfill all our wishes (by booking restaurants, suggesting activities, meeting demands and helping us in any small and big questions). The accommodations were superb: decorated with an elegant style and fully equipped with all kinds of amenities.

It’s one of the closest islands to the airport which makes the ride easy after your flight. I cannot describe how comfortable it is, the amazing and thoughtful staff even brought me a mommy pillow when they realized I was pregnant and to me it’s always those little details that make my trip!

Visiting Maldives has made me reconsider all of the places I've visited before and I used to consider beautiful. Such a combination of white and soft sand, transparent water and uncontaminated nature is more unique than rare. Hilton Amingiri is the perfect resort to stay in, every detail is taken in consideration and the staff is the most hospitable, kind and professional I've ever seen. Special mention to Mozi and Amine as our Guest Experience Makers, who smoothly organized all of the activities for us, and to Nizar, Najaah, Ziyam and Kamal for entertainment and sport activities, to Suraj for lifeguarding us while on beaches and water and to chef Dario for the fantastic Italian dinners.

PakistanWe found it a little noisier as we had been to some other resort before reaching Hilton, which was quiet and more peaceful. Also, when dining at Habitat on the first day, we discovered that the service was a little slower, and sometimes, you keep looking to spot a waiter or a staff member to request help with something. Maybe I misjudged, but I noticed that the water during the day isn't that clear as other resorts due to aggressive water sport activities.
Like other 5-star resorts in the Maldives, Hilton Maldives Amingiri is a fantastic place to stay. The sunset view from Aura was out of this world. The over-water villa we booked was spacious and impressive. Room service was terrific. Tutu was helpful throughout our short stay. Recommended if you want a luxury stay nearer to Velana International Airport.

A special mention to Ali, the waiter from the Aura restaurant—this man truly loves his job and always recommends the most delicious dishes. Saudi ArabiaThe food mostly 5/10. For something of this price the food should be much much better at least up to make you feel full. We were just eating to stop the hunger. The menus are diverse but the taste either too salty or too oily and sometimes does not taste right sometimes you just eat to stop the hunger which shouldn’t be the case especially if you’re on a buffet or going on vacation! we like to eat and enjoy the meals but that was not the case at this resort. Also add to this that we had halfboard reservation for 4 night that is almost 6K USD for an overwater villa. and when you get to the buffet the water is not included and you pay $15 for each bottle of water. I stayed 4 nights and spent almost 2K USD for dining and 30 minutes one jetski + 90 minutes one person message + sunset cruise. I’d say : 1. the food well below average. 2. The prices are insanely overpriced
