We used the hotel as a stop over before a live-aboard dive trip. The pick up from the airport was effortless, staff super friendly! Our sea view room was great and were able to swim in the sea directly in front of the hotel. We will return.

Modern, clean, VERY comfortable bed, delicious varied breakfast, helpful friendly staff (especially Maya the receptionist) and wonderful views from the junior ocean suite. Aircon and soundproofing worked brilliantly. Stone’s throw from the beach. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else to transit to our dive boat. In fact am going back for a night at the end of our week at sea.

The young staff (or owners?) of the small Heli78 hotel go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed with our family for just one short night due to an early morning flight. Our stay at Heli78 was excellent. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped. Comfortable beds. There was a peaceful atmosphere. One room had a beautiful ocean view. Later in the evening, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. Early in the morning, we were given a lovely takeaway breakfast at our request. And then there was the fantastic airport pickup and drop-off service, which was about a 15-minute drive away. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful experience in every way! The hotel is simply perfect: the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to meet every need with a smile. My own fault really but I couldn’t work out how to get the air con cold enough, but I’m from Scotland and sleep with the windows open even in winter.

We had an evening meal and it was absolutely superb! Really delicious and outstanding value for money. Breakfast was tasty and included plenty of tasty homemade jams and pastries.

Poor internet connection, though hotel staff changed our room but still we didn’t get stable connectivity during all our stay.

The Staff, especially Maya and Amrita (if I’m not mistaken), both were exceptionally well, in fact they were best among all the hotels we stayed in Maldives. They received us properly, took care of us and though we faced lots of internet connectivity problems but they tried there level best to rectify it.

There is nothing to not like.

The hotel is in a superb area for transit travellers arriving or departing The Maldives and connecting with internal or international transport. The hotel is onlyl 12 minutes from the airport and they operate a free meet and greet service to/from the hotel to the airport. It was seamless and easy. The hotel is right across the road from the beach, so if you have time to spare it's a nice place to spend some time and have a swim as the water was shallow and safe. The room (501) exceeded my expectations. The food - breakfast and I also had dinner there too - was super. A great choice, nicely prepared and good value for momey. The staff were always on hand and attentive - they can't do enough for you.

Had an amazing stay at H78 Veli hotel. I stayed for 1 night for transit. To my surprise they included return airport transfer which I thought were not included. They even provided special breakfast at 4:30 am even though their normal hours are 7 am - 10 am. All the staff was amazing, kind, polite & professional. Prajol the airport rep, my driver from Bangladesh (sorry forgot name), Receptionist Anusha who explained everything very clearly & another girl at the reception. Saroj helped with luggage & explained everything in the room and Sujan at 4:30 am for breakfast.

The staff are exceptional, so attentive, so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. This applies equally to the hotel team and the restaurant team. This hotel punches well above its weight in terms of how friendly and helpful the staff are :-) I will return here without any hesitation on my future business visits to the area This is a lovely little hotel that is very suited to the business traveller... This is NOT a resort type of hotel
