first they provide a poor room to us, but we asked the reciption to changed it and immidietly they move us to balcony room and it was great. the reciption 2 ladies were so kind and helpful.

Noise at night in rooms located to the island. There is a Mosque with very late and early noisy prayers, very close is being build new house, work is over night. Hotel tours are cheaper, but badly organized with useless delays and little time spent in attractions.

I didn't like that they say they give a 10% discount on the price of tourist tours, however, it's the same price as other companies, and I still managed to find one much cheaper than their price! The pictures are better than reality!

Older rooms, you could see in detail that it needs some revitalisation over the years of use. Constructions in close vicinity - if you go out for an activity you do not notice as it stops by 4pm.

Breakfast was very simple and basic, every day the same. But we got used to. Staff extremely helpful and open to any requirements.

The hotel looks amazing in the pictures, however, it was a lot older in person. There is construction everywhere. On both sides of the hotel. we were lucky that they weren't working right next to our room. Other guests weren't so lucky They also blast music for hours every night and when we asked what time it will be turned off, they said 11pm. There was no one around listening to the music. We don't even know why they had it on. The aircon would only go to 24 degrees which isn't great in that heat. The breakfast was a little sad. I wouldn't suggest going full board. There are lots of restaurants near by. It was great to be able to walk everywhere from the hotel. We also booked all of our tours through the hotel.

We were expecting more from the room - it didn't look as fancy as the photos, most of the furniture was a bit old. The room was overall quiet, but the muslim prayer a few times a day was quite audible - specifically at night at 5 am, it was always waking us up.

We had a very pleasant stay at Crystal Sands. The staff was super nice and the hotel itself is quite accommodating. They let us check in much earlier than the original check in time. We enjoyed the breakfast, even though it did not have that much variety, the food was delicious. We also took advantage of the excursions they were offering and really enjoyed them.

The buffe food was unfortunately not up to standard. The evening buffe was cold and the breakfast basic. If you plan to receive visitors, this hotel has a policy not to allow visitors in the hotel. The description of the hotel as "on the beach" is misleading. On the street close ro shore is more accurate.

Location is good and the possibility to book excursions at the hotel is a good service. Very close to the port. Nice large room to an ok price.

Breakfast is really poor. Balcony, i asked them to fix the lock 3 times and never did it.. I was always afraid. My room was always accessible because I was on the first floor. Noise until late at night due to the next construction. Tour book through them very bad and expensive.. use triton or icom for any tour.. I asked for a refund and they never gave me.. also, they didn't respect the 10% off as genius that was supposed to obtain for snorkeling booking. Even i paid 4% more for credit card payment.

Our room's window looked directly out onto a construction zone where people could walk right up to our window. The wifi was TERRIBLE - it does not work in the rooms even though it says it should. We had to sit in the lobby to use the internet which was quite frustrating. The breakfast was basic and not that good. And the staff didn't seem the most knowledgable.

It was fine, but not what we were hoping for. It's in a good location.

Rooms that we got have unacceptable view of the construction beam that belongs to the next building that is literally 30cm away from the window, so you have the view of building that is in middle of cobstruction.Besides that, it was loud all day long starting from as early as 6-30am until 17h, stay away from the Maffushi in general as it is construction site all over the islands, you'll see for yourself they are either building new places or demolishing old ones, it is nothing close to what people are expecting from the Maldives, I warmly suggest Fulidhoo, Thinadhoo there you get the real sensation of the Maldives

Bed linen seemes to be old, and asked them to change it multiple times. The restaurant has very limited food. They're putting a lot of storage items like extra beds and mattresses out on the floor, should have a storage for that.

Many building sites, therefore noisy. Poor water pressure. We had a view on a concrete and rusty roofs. After paid fishing trip, for dinner, we got really poor quality fish and a rather modest amount.

The hotel is close to the beach and restaurants. It has a nice, tidy front garden. Breakfast correct and their banana split is delicious! The lady at the reception tries her best.
