My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at Coco Villa. We absolutely loved the hotel — beautifully decorated with great style. Wasim, the manager, was attentive at all times, offering us activities and always available to help with any questions or requests. Himanshu made sure our room was spotless every day and regularly checked if we needed anything. Amirudin takes care of the beautiful garden that the rooms overlook. And Chef Subo prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning to start the day full of energy. They offer bicycle rentals to explore the island. They also provide beach towels and snorkeling gear. The beach is well equipped, with restrooms, freshwater showers, and fruit stands. The reef on the south side of the island is full of marine life (including turtles). The hotel offers various activities. We had the chance to enjoy a morning of snorkeling with manta rays, nurse sharks, a vibrant reef, and a visit to a paradisiacal sandbank. They also manage the speedboat transfers to and from the airport. All in all, an unforgettable experience on a dream island in a hotel that truly made us feel at home. Huge thanks to the entire Coco Villa team!!

Me and my wife had an amazing time staying at Coco Villa on Thoddoo Island! The place is super cozy and chill, with that perfect island vibe. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff made us feel really welcome. The nature around is stunning — so peaceful and beautiful. We loved exploring the island and relaxing by the beach. Totally recommend it if you want a laid-back getaway!

We came from Ukraine itself, the road was long, we were immediately met with coconuts and dinner! Very nice villas, great garden, good breakfasts. Situated in the centre of the island, not far to go to both the sunset and sunrise beach! I recommend it to everyone! Clean, spacious, I wanted to rest more.

We could not have asked for more! The hotel manager was extremely helpful and attentive, catered to our kids' meal preferences, assisted us in getting family bikes, booked transfers smoothly, arranged for lunchboxes on the day we chose to leave for a boat trip at 6.30 a.m... The place is really cute and charming, the breakfast is a feast and we were not lacking for anything. I cannot recommend this place enough! Our kids even got beach toys to enjoy while we were at the island, attention to detail is really impeccable. Thanks for the lovely stay!

It was an unforgettable experience at Coco Villa. From the moment we received our booking confirmation, we got complete information about transfers, meals, beach locations, and more. They answered all our additional questions very quickly, which was very pleasing. The rooms were very spacious and cozy. Both the regular and beach towels were changed every day. The breakfasts were delicious and varied each day. One day we didn’t go to breakfast, but later found it nicely packed in our room, which was very surprising. Since it was a man’s birthday, we received a surprise with a song, cake, and a gift—it was very sweet. We want to thank the manager, Wasim, for everything. We travel a lot, but we have never received service like this anywhere else. All our questions were resolved immediately. In particular, he helped us with a transfer to another island resort we visited after Coco Villa, because it was very difficult to contact the resort itself; he organized it in just 5 minutes. Therefore, we highly recommend Coco Villa and, once again, thank manager Wasim for everything!

AMAZING, OUTSTANDING STAY I travelled on other Maldivian local islands and Thodoo is divine ! Coco Villa is European standard. Clean, nice, modern,fresh and new AC. Personel is amazing ! Mr. Abdullah is doing everything to exceed expectations. Breakfast 10/10 Stay 10/10 nothing to add. It is perfect hotel, with amazing personel who is ready to help at any time of day and night. Possibility to rent a bike. I will be back for sure !

The location was superb—a brief ten-minute walk from the beach. The hotel manager was exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring that every need was met. Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity we could possibly require.

Everything was super clean and had such a lovely vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, always chatting with us and making our mornings brighter. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit and juice every day. They even changed the bedsheets daily, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also forgot something at the hotel, and they were so kind to send it to us on the ferry so we could get it back—such amazing service! The accommodation also has a huge garden that looks very tropical, adding a wonderful sense of intimacy to the place. We truly left with beautiful memories.

Amazingly beautiful place - with elegant style. Very close to the tourist beach, but it is a calm environment at the same time. Altough it is a small place, it can be very intimate, since the rooms are perfectly seperated from others. Rooms are very comfortable big bed big space, modern bath room. Loved every detail of the rooms, design furniture, mood lighting. The food, the breakfast and the diner is exceptional - a fusion of local and global kitchen, we loved it. But the most important thing is the level of customer service. The hotel manager, Abdullah did everything to make our stay perfect, constantly checking on us, making sure that we eat, relax and have everything what we need. This is a real difference what makes this villa exceptional. Thank you for everything Abdullah!

Nothing major, i really have to think hard to find something. There are mosquitos of course on the island what is normal, some kind of prevention for the balcony or around would help - but i had my antirepellents so i was lucky.

There are no good bicycles to rent

We had an amazing experience at Coco Villa on Thoddoo Island! The room was boho chicand incredibly cozy, with a comfortable bed and a huge wardrobe for all our things. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated with thoughtful boho details that made the space feel like a true home away from home. One of our favorite aspects of Coco Villa was the spacious garden surrounded by tropical plants. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy some peace, and soak in the natural beauty of the island. The breakfasts were always a highlight, with a great variety each day – from traditional Maldivian dishes to tuna sandwiches and chicken wraps. We loved the options, although the only suggestion we have would be to start breakfast an hour earlier! I would recommend more variety of fruits. As we had only watermelon mostly for our 7 days stay. The staff at Coco Villa were incredible, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The entire team is so positive, calm, and always smiling, which made our experience feel magical. Abdulla, the manager, was fantastic, and Wasim, the housekeeper, took such great care of us. It’s a miracle how they manage to take care of everything with so few staff members – it would be helpful to have a bit more manpower, especially during busy periods. We also booked great trips with Abdulla :) wish we could have booked swimming in the local coral reef and an island trip first so to know where the best spots for snorkeling are. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic stay at Coco Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, cozy retreat in the Maldives. The vibe, the service, and the overall experience are truly special.

There is one minor issue we'd like to mention: the mosquitoes in the garden. While we loved the outdoor space, we did get bitten quite a lot, so it might be worth spraying the area more frequently to keep them under control. Additionally, the garden is made of sand, which is lovely for walking barefoot, but there’s a strip of sharp stones in front of the room, which made walking barefoot a bit difficult. It would have been perfect if the entire garden area was more barefoot-friendly.

Abdullah was so helpful and kind. Beach and turtle reef a dream. I had a Resort feeling staying in coco villa. The food was great as well and the way to the beach with palm trees and fruit plantations was also really nice

Island: A lot of new buildings are being constructed so I guess it’s gonna get more and more crowded

Very clean and spacious, relaxing atmosphere. A few minutes walk from both beaches and the stores. Many restaurants closeby. Loved the daily housekeeping which kept the room sand free. The staff was exceptionally kind, even helped us with purchasing a new phone from Male after accidentally dropping it in the ocean. I recommend their transportation option from and to the airport. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

First of all, I want to thank Wasim, whose hospitality was top-notch. He was there for any question or doubt we had. Coco Villa is probably the best place where you can spend your vacation in Thoddoo. It has a beautiful garden, lounge area, and kitchen area. The rooms are spacious enough and beautifully designed. The Sunset Beach is about a 5-minute walk through beautiful nature. You will also get snorkeling equipment if you need it. The food was delicious!

Even though the meal was tasty, the portions could be a bit bigger.

We stayed without expectations, but caring from Abdulla was amazing! He tried to do all things for our comfort! Food in Cocovilla on high level (like in the best restaurants)! If we go to Maldives one more time we will stay on cocovilla 100%. Thank you, our best manager Abdulla! We enjoyed!
