No need to loud DJ music in bar at night - it killed the atmosphere and emptied the bar each time but the management were determined to keep it.

Really is a proper 5 star resort with a wow factor. Island, even by Maldivian standards beautiful. Back side of Island particularly beautiful and private and villas here are lovely. Food very good here. Snorkelling also very good with free daily snorkelling trip at 11am to sections of the main house reef

Everything!!Talk of the reception,the staffs the asst manager Mr Tuan oh so welcoming,One Mr Areeej kept on checking on us and asking if all was well. Our house Keeper Mr Khalid Not forgetting Miss Raathy at the reception took us through everything and made sure we understood before check in. To the amazing photographer Mr Ali🫡Angsana felt like home away from home. Definitely coming back there our first experience with my husband was 10/10 minus nothing!! Value for your money guaranteed.

Everything was just perfect, villas large and comfortble with privacy. All staff very helpfull, nice and just great to talk to. Food was amazing, cheffs are willing to go beyond the standards. Angsana Velavaru exceeded all expectations — it was an unforgettable stay from beginning to end. The staff were incredible — so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Tuan, Eli, Alina, and Laila for making us feel truly at home. Their kindness and attention to detail created such a positive atmosphere that we’re already planning to come back. The villa was very comfortable, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The island itself is beautiful — lush greenery, palm trees, and a peaceful vibe despite the number of villas. Everything is perfectly integrated into the landscape, which makes walks around the island a real joy. The ocean was amazing. While there’s no reef right at the shore, it makes swimming more pleasant and safe. At the same time, the resort offers access to a fantastic house reef with organized snorkeling trips — the best of both worlds! We highly recommend combining a beach villa with a few nights overwater — this way, you get to enjoy both the privacy and stunning views of the ocean and the rich nature of the island. The property itself is lovely on a secluded island. The over water villas are a short boat ride away from the main island which gives it a real exclusive feel. The house reef is amazing, such a vibrant reef of colour and sea life. Lots of turtles, sharks, rays and fish to be seen.

Very expensive with so much tax Even just a cocktail was so costly so not economical at all .

As soon as we landed someone was there to meet us after immigration to help us to find the sea plane check in and lounge to relax while we wait .. very beautiful resort , great views , very clean and friendly stuff , I especially want to mention shehan and laila from the restaurants , they were amazing and helpful .. they also had a variety of activities daily like karaoke or paddling etc def recommend .

All inclusive packages are not so clear. Please make sure to go on website and check everything in details. Even though it is a basic package it covers everything.

Property is amazing. It was a great stay - I got badly ill but they looked after me so well! Rooms are so clean and have everything you need. Overwater villas are exceptional.

The seaplane transfer - we had to wait for whole 4 hours for the transport after checkout. We had another stay planned in the city we reached there by late evening leaving us no time to explore city. Seaplane transfers should be updated for the convenience.

Childcare was only for years 4 and up while we were there. No diving excursions for experienced divers, maybe due to low season.

We had an amazing stay. The best part of the hotell (apart from the obvious great surroundings) was the staff. A special thanks to Appa, Nisanka and the rest of the staff for an amazing stay and made us and our daughter feel very special. Good food and great value for money!

The food varied in quality. Some nights I had very good food, other nights I did not like it. It was especially disappointing that the seafood was not good at all - I never ate good fish/seafood during my stay (with the exception of tuna).

The rooms were huge and dreamy! The pool was amazing and the staff was all really nice. The complimentary snorkelling trip was always great fun.

Everything! Was one of the best trips in our lifes. It's a paradise! All the staff was amazing, everyone was so kindfull! All the in ocean vilas have a private swimming pool, which make it even better. You can decide between a snorkling in the ocean or just chill at your private pool. We felt it like we could stay for 2 weeks easily. Unfortunately it was just 5 days, but totally worth it!

Only complaint was that the main pool was closed on our final day but we had the sea to enjoy to cool down and it definitely didn’t prevent us from enjoying ourselves.

We stayed for 4 nights and had such a fabulous time. It was our third visit to the Maldives but our first to Angsana. We were greeted at the airport and taken to a business lounge for 30-40 minutes to wait for our seaplane. We boarded the sea plane and had a 40 minute flight to the island. We were made to feel very welcome, both given a a small welcome drink and bracelet and escorted to our villa. We received a free upgrade to the beach villa with a pool. The villa was incredible and the gentleman who escorted us was so friendly. The island itself is quite small and we took advantage of the free paddle boards and kayaks and paddled around the whole island. We also did the free snorkelling trip and were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins join us as we boarded back onto the boat. The food was delicious - we were all inclusive and ate in the main restaurant and pool bar. The evening entertainment was great- not too loud or overbearing. It was really enjoyable to sit and enjoy the evenings. The staff arranged our departure on the last day. Our flight was at 9am and we arrived by seaplane at the airport at 7:30am. They had staff waiting to help us with our cases and escort us to check in to help speed up the process. We cleared immigration and headed straight to board our flight. It was the smoothest departure without any waiting round.

We loved everything.

We loved absolutely everything about our trip. Best holiday we’ve ever had! The food, the drinks, the accommodation, the staff. It really was 5 star luxury. My husband and I travel a lot, and this was truly the best place we’ve ever been!

Some fixtures in room need to be upgraded. Lamps, blinds etc. Staff try their best, but service can at times be slow and unreliable. But this was no biggie!

This truly is paradise. In ocean villa experience was superb! Comfy beds, gorgeous views. Spacious, luxurious and exclusive. Best reef snorkelling we have ever experienced. Food was tantalising! Charith @ the bar made our stay personal and unforgettable. His Baby Lady Killer was fabulous and he kept the Beer and drinks flowing with a smile! Fayaz and Ajija were great support!
