United KingdomHad a mix up with the staff that deal with the Spa. Kept getting told it will be open at a specific time but then was closed each time.
Easy to access, staff welcoming, polite and professional. Particularly Chef Rahul, had an excellent meal at the Horizon Restaurant cooked by him and was served professionally by Akilen (sorry if I have spelt name wrong). Also would like to say thank you to Faizal for his hospitality. Good food, clean and spacious rooms.

Chilenot many activities to entertain the passengers. too many birds in the restaurant during breakfast and lunch. also, too many stray dogs in the facilities, along with some mices
good access to the beach and had some free activities included with the booking. we asked for lunch boxes when we got into a whole day tour. for my wife's birthday, we got a small cake and a single singer. the mini bar was topped up every day.

LatviaThe food selection could be more varied, especially at lunch. The beach area is quite small, and there are not enough sunbeds – you have to reserve them early in the morning. Stray dogs from the public beach occasionally entered the hotel area and the beach. They are not aggressive, but if this bothers you, be prepared.
The hotel and the room – cozy, clean, well-maintained, and nicely designed. Housekeeping was done regularly. The beach – beautiful, with soft sand and clear water. The staff – friendly, always ready to help, smiling, and professional. The food – delicious and of good quality. Evening activities – live music, cocktails at the bar, and other entertainment created a pleasant atmosphere.

FranceThe view from our room was out of this world, we had booked a room with sea view, but the rooms could certainly do with an update.
This was our second stay at Veranda Palmar. The staff at the hotel are always welcoming and helpful. The food was much better this year. The beach is amazing and so are the facilities at the hotel, they offer canoes and catamaran for free. You can also hire bikes and small motorbikes to explore the area. They organize Aqua gym, great fun with Clive whose enthusiasm is infections. Beach volley, afternoon tea with pancakes and cakes and so much more. A special thank you to the guys at the bar and the restaurant who work very hard to keep everyone happy.

United StatesNot enough lounge chairs on the beach. The rooms were average size and would only be rated 3 star. All inclusive food was good for breakfast and dinner but lunch would be rated the lowest.
Very nice boutique hotel on the beach. The pool, dining area and bar were all comfortable and appealing. The beds were comfortable. The rooms and outside areas were clean and well maintained.

United StatesI found the food to be less than desirable. The drinks included were local booze only , and I found the rum to taste awful. The gin was ok. The beer was all local that was included. It was ok. I don't understand why sugar would be one of the ingredients. I drank it because I drink beer. It was tolerable but preder beer without sugar. I skipped several meals because I could not find anything I liked in the buffet. The pay restaurant seem pricey for me and given the buffet I was not confident it would be good.

South AfricaI thought the "all inclusive" was a bit limited in selection. Room was very clean but bathroom needed a bit of a deep cleaning session and was below par.
Very friendly staff. Had dinner, twice, at the Horizon restaurant......can definitely recommend......the service was great and the seafood was amazing 👏 Lovely beach for walking.

South AfricaLimited seats on the beach however we had beachfront rooms which came with their own seats near the beach which we used to create our own area under the palm trees. There are dogs and cats walking in the dining begging for food. There was dog poo on the grass the staff did nothing about until we asked then to remove it.
As returning guests we were welcome warmly. Had a lobster dinner on the beach which was delicious. The rooms were clean and the beds are very comfortable. There was a variety of dishes everyday. The staff went out of their way to make sure all our requests where met. The hotel is truly a gem!

United KingdomOnly suggestion would be timings of a few activities. Beach workout was at 1030 and yoga at 330. Id have personally preferred workout earlier before the heat of the day and yoga a bit later as 330 is still prime beach time! But the entertainment team were great at letting us know when things were happening
Made to feel incredibly welcome by the staff who were fabulous in many ways: Joelle for always being so smiley and attentive at breakfast and lunch Nelly, the omellettes and pancakes Queen! Delicious every day Elvis for the joy at the bar Askan knows how to provide exceptional service, above and beyond. So impressed! Suran for his rum and delicious honeymoon meal at Horizon beach restaurant 👌 Varied selection of food at lunch and dinner, notably for me the salads at lunch! Reception team also exceptional from welcome to check out and bring so caring and helpful when I needed a doctor. Couldn't fault any of the staff from boathouse team to chefs to front of house - thank you making our stay so wonderful! We also enjoyed a massage at the spa, brilliant!
