Room service menu Breakfast ends at 10am.

Location, Beach and the beachside rooms were exceptional. From my last visit, the breakfast and the quality of the room service has not been maintained. Very few options in the room service menu, and the breakfast times are not adequate given the number of guests to be served. The number of food stations needs to be increased.

Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa: Charm with shortcomings.

The one, but exceptional, exception was the lady who served us in room number 147 from July 21st to 31st. Her professionalism, genuine commitment, and unconditional willingness to fulfill our desires were absolutely exemplary. She stood out from the rest of the staff and made the memory of her work incredibly positive. Such employees are a true treasure who deserve the highest recognition and opportunities for development.

MAURITIUS: TWO BEACHCOMBER HOTELS – LUXURY VERSUS DISAPPOINTMENT. MY PERSONAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STAY. I had the pleasure of spending a total of sixteen days in Mauritius, splitting my time between two hotels from the renowned Beachcomber chain: Paradise Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa (6 days) and Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa (10 days). Looking back on my entire stay, I can confidently say that I deeply regret not spending my entire vacation at Paradise Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa. Although both properties belong to the same chain and aspire to luxury, the difference in experience was colossal – Paradise surpasses Trou aux Biches by at least 100%. Trou aux Biches Beac... looks beautiful at first glance. The hotel is well-maintained, and its beach is considered one of the most beautiful on the island. However, in practice, my stay revealed a number of disappointing shortcomings. The staff, although present, offered standard services that were unremarkable. Small but crucial details were missing, such as tablecloths on the breakfast tables. Furthermore, during meals, I was literally glued to the table on numerous occasions due to the lack of tablecloths and inadequate cleaning. The same problematic situation repeated itself during the dinner buffet, where, despite the fees, the tables appeared unclean. The floors at Trou aux Biches were also a major drawback. The rough surfaces used were extremely difficult to maintain impeccably clean, negatively impacting the overall hygiene and aesthetics. I find it difficult to understand who made the decision to choose such impractical material solutions in a facility of this caliber. Furthermore, while the beach at Trou aux Biches has its charm, its public nature generated significant disruption and traffic from outside the hotel. This diminished the sense of exclusivity and privacy, so crucial for a truly relaxing holiday.

Reduce room price and charge for sports club activities. Not a good value. Hard to book and then activities cancelled.

Grounds are nicely manicured. Room is sparkling clean. Staff great. Evening entertainment very nice but a little late in the evening. Breakfast buffet very nice.

The air con is quite crude and we struggled with trying to maintain a decent room temperature. Also, the TV in the room wasn’t working but this was resolved- however it did take quite a few phone calls

Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable, and the level of service we received exceeded all expectations. From the moment I began emailing before our arrival, Prateema, our villa manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful. I had specific requests for our villa setup before we arrived, and everything was perfectly arranged by the time we got there, it even exceeded what I had imagined. The villa itself was stunning, spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly serene. It offered both privacy and luxury. The setting is simply breathtaking, and the resort overall offers everything you could ask for: peace, comfort, and top-tier service. We were lucky to have Poonam as our butler throughout the stay. She was so warm and welcoming, preparing us breakfast every morning. With Prateema and Poonam always being just a call away for anything we needed. Whether it was organizing a buggy, arranging in-villa dining, or answering questions, the team responded promptly and with genuine kindness. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was a private dinner on the beach, and Rakeesh, our waiter for the evening, made it even more magical. The effort put into the setup and service made it feel truly special, like something out of a dream. We also treated ourselves to the spa experience, and that in itself was a whole other level of relaxation. The ambiance, the treatments, and the professionalism of the staff created a perfect escape. I highly recommend it to anyone staying here. Lastly, even the small things stood out like Jeff, who welcomed us upon arrival and gave us tips about the property and places to visit. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Nothing that would come up to mind. There were some minor things for sure, but it can fully be disregarded considering what hotel offers.

The hotel has a huge territory, which is green and very well maintained. All villas are located just at the right distance from each other, so you always feel some privacy. The rooms are surely a bit outdated yet high quality and spacious. Complimentary tea, coffee (nespresso), and water are provided daily. The service is a true 5* hotel, 2 times a day cleaning, the staff is responsive and polite. Usage of beachcomber app is also another advantage, its possible to request any room amenities directly without calling, and check all restaurants menus. The beach is perfect, cleaned every day, with soft whitish sand. Plenty of sunbeds in different locations. Great free water activities, we definitely recommend taking snorkeling, SUP, water skiis. Breakfast is generous with everything one might expect from such a hotel. The only thing, a dietary corner with gluten free products could have been better. We fully enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

It was a shame that when we paid for a relaxing massage that immediately after, the masseuses were hard selling on products we did not ask for. The massages were great and relaxing, but the approach after was not at all in line with the experience we expected.

The staff were all friendly and would greet us wherever we went. Whilst I unfortunately don’t remember all the names, there was a bar tender at the Caravelle bar who made us feel well taken care of, a super smiley porter who was keen to talk about Danish football and make us feel at home. The room was incredible and the food also. This stay for our honeymoon was near perfection - where we really need to nitpick if we try to find any “flaws”.

Ladies steam room was closed for the duration of the holiday, but the Spa allowed us to use their facilities for free. A la carte dress code not communicated, luckily booked B&B.

Breakfast was exceptional, so many choices from fresh tropical fruit, cereals, eggs to meats & cheese. The coffee was superb too, faultless.

We were on our honeymoon and felt a bit let down by the fact we weren’t able to get a reservation at any of the a la carte restaurants for the first 4 nights of our 8 night stay, despite the restaurants never looking full, for such a special occasion it felt disappointing to have to eat at the buffet for half of our stay. The process of having to stand in a daily queue in the morning to try and book a restaurant with only 1 person at the desk also feels overly arduous and for a 5* hotel I would expect a slicker service.

Beautiful hotel with well maintained gardens and beach. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice big bathroom and balcony. A la carte restaurants are amazing, if you can get a reservation. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I think that breakfast should start at 07:00, but more important is to keep it till 11:00 and not 10:00, people don't like to wake up early, and many like sports activities before breakfast, it also makes the dining room very crowded, Restaurants - extremely expensive -

Very nice and large room with great service each day, well equipped, very nice beach great sunsets, real luxury hotel
