    Spa and Hammam, kids area and spacious room for family.. 3 staff members in particular - Cloverdine and Kashish at the restaurant and Stephanie in the kids area. Also special mention for the person who took us to the front desk (can't remember his name). Staff is accomodating. Stephanie really took great care of the kids while we enjoyed our spa session. Nice Tennis court. Delicious Ala carte food

    Only warm water in the bathroom. More a place for relaxation, not many activities planned throughout the day to keep guests entertained. Free 30 mins use of steam room and hot/cold bath wasn't told to us at the reception. Buffet dinner was pretty average

    The hotel’s location is truly breathtaking nestled in the heart of lush greenery, it offers a serene, forest-like experience that feels completely immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and being surrounded by trees was the highlight of our stay, and it’s a perfect setting for those looking to escape the city and unwind in peace.

    Unfortunately, the room and service did not match the beauty of the surroundings. Cleanliness was poor, with ants, bugs, and no dustbins in the room. Several amenities were broken — including the shower (weak water flow, no sprinkler), a clogged basin, broken sockets, and a non-working telephone. The furniture was old and partially dismantled. Getting around the property was also inconvenient. We often waited 20 –30 minutes, sometimes longer, for a buggy to take us between the parking area, lobby, and our room. The dining experience was equally underwhelming, breakfast and dinner did not meet Sofitel’s usual standards.

    The rooms are spacious and the resort is very green, quiet, perhaps too quiet.

    Despite that the resort is very windy and cold this time of the year. The feel of the hotel and staff is also cold. We were not welcomed properly. Not informed about the know about at the resort. We stayed at a couple 5star resorts and I wouldn’t rate this hotel as 5 star. Very little activity, the kids club and gym is very small.

    The beach , in good season is nice

    Property is ......let say Tired Breakfast has an abboundance of birds eating out of your plates while you are away taking something from the buffet unless you leave somone to scare the birds away. Not Hygenic at all. The villa pool is OLD and broken tiles every where. We had also an incident where by while sleeping a Mainetnance person opened the door while we were inside and had to run afetr him to understyand , Why was he entering in the bedroom fro th beach side at past 21:00 , very stragne , I have reported this at recepyion th enext day

    Beautiful setting and lovely Long Beach walks. The grounds are stunning too.

    It was a shame that the Swimming pool and all the concrete structures were blocking the beautiful view of the water and beach. No artwork in the bedroom or in public hotel areas!!! Hardly any channels on the tv. The green beds were not suitable for such a lovely space. Bathtub on terrace not great either. Would be better positioned in outdoor shower area.

    Peaceful and tranquil, good quiet area close to the sea, perfect for taking time out to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Rooms were spacious and well equipped, opening out onto the seafront.

    Food wasn’t the best in town, but lots of eateries in the area so more than made up for by location.

    On a positive note, the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the food was quite good, which are the only two redeeming aspects of this stay. Sadly, the rest was a major disappointment. The value for money just isn’t there. I would not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made.

    I had high expectations for my stay at the Sofitel in Mauritius, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the standard this brand usually represents. The biggest letdown was the condition of the room. It was far from clean—we noticed ants and even gnats inside. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. There were not enough towels, and surprisingly, no trash bins in the room. For a hotel of this category and price range, that’s simply unacceptable. I tried to cancel my booking early during the stay due to the issues, but no one responded to my request. I ended up spending four frustrating days there without support. Even water we had to pay.

    the security and proximity to the beach

    the spa..while one therapist was good the other didn't even lower the bed for me to get on it causing a severe backache

    Facilities are very exotic, rooms are beautiful and tastefully designed, nice big bathrooms and a view of garden and the sea.

    We came with high expectations as Sofitel in Dubai has a great reputation for hospitality but we were left disappointed with the apathy and indifference of the staff with the exception of Raj and Harsh who were both very professional. The hospitality is superficial and doesn't not go beyond a smile on the surface. Looks like they are not used to catering to demanding Asian guests. Despite having a few Indian families on the property, the food esp biriyani and curries were served luke warm. Despite feedback shared with staff Mohnisha, this repeated next day. Their food quality and selection is not upto the standards we expected. Very ordinary for the prices charged. Our food experience at Radisson was way better. Reception desks line is usually busy, they don't call back. If a guest needs something urgently they will need to go upto reception. I requested room cleaning one of the days, had to remind twice before someone was sent. For the exclusivity the resort claims to offer, this is not the level of service expected.

    Late check out case. We requested for the late check out reception associates they said to come back on the check out day and request if they will have availability then it’s possible. We went on check out day to the reception they rejected late check out saying that hotel is occupied and when they said we don’t take any payments for the l c/o I went through their website and checked that there was availability on booking rooms and options as paying for the late c/o we called reception and informed about being aware of the situation after the call they said you can come to reception pay and get it. What was the point of all ? It started quite perfectly and ended with disappointment
