United KingdomEntertainment team were nowhere to be seen. Shower and bedroom floor were a little bit dirty.
Angelica was very attentive from checkin. We arrived very early and she kept us informed about when our room would be ready - doing all she could do get an early check in. It was my daughter’s birthday and she helped make it so special with the room being decorated and an upgrade to sea view. Mackeline was also outstanding. Being very attentive and making sure we were ok with plenty food and drinks and also organised the band to sing happy birthday and arranging for a cake. From start to finish we felt so special.

While we faced a small inconvenience with a water leakage in our room, the way the team handled it showed us the true meaning of hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel cared for—they surprised us with a complimentary romantic dinner by the beach, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The setting was magical, the food was delicious, and the gesture made us feel very special. A big thank you to Veejess and the team, along with General Manager Mr. Teelwah, for ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service, and it made all the difference to our holiday. We’ll always remember Preskil not just for its beautiful location and amenities, but for the people who truly care about their guests. Highly recommended!

The setting/location is fabulous. Even during winter there is little to no wind and the water stays warm as it is inside the lagoon. I bet the diving would be nice too. Its a medium sized resort. Food is ok, service great, the decor is fabulous.

United KingdomThe resort looked impressive on arrival, but check-in was disorganised and overly formal, with robotic staff and unnecessary waiting. A direct desk check-in would’ve been simpler. We received a free room upgrade and were offered lunch before accessing the room. Breakfast was average. Dinner was crowded and poorly managed, with awkward buffet layout and slow table service, we ended up using mini bar drinks. Bar service was equally slow, despite drinks being free. At check-out, we received a call just before the check-out time to confirm if we were leaving, and a golf cart arrived before 11am to collect our bags and take us to reception. Lunch was served until 3pm. Overall, it was a nice stay, but the service didn’t quite hit the mark.

South AfricaIn terms of facilities - there are only 2 bars and once you are at the beach or garden pool, you have to walk a lot to get a drink. There is only 1 restaurant, Mosaic where you have an a la carte option on the all inclusive package ( which means you had to book well in advance as it was always booked). The Rendez vous restaurant was very mediocre for a restaurant in a 4 star hotel. The food presentation was below average, selection was almost the same most night, no themed evening to change it a bit. Some of the plates were broken. Service from the staff at Rendez Vous was inconsistent - the managers looked quite on top of things but some of the serving staff were not as welcoming and helpful ( I asked once for a small cup for my 3years old and was told there was none when in the room they had them). Service could be improved for the front desk staff - my husband had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to take him to our room as I had already checked in. Same goes when he wanted to just drop the card ( ad he had already checked out), he had to wait and was told off quite rudely.
The location is great and the room are spacious - there is an area for your luggage in the room. In terms of the staff, we received great service from these teams: Room service for our room The team at Medley bar ( especially Ashwan our bartender who looked after us ) A special mention to the security team who gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived and the porters who were full of smiles. We loved the restaurant 1810 - the atmosphere and the service were 5 stars
