No frills guest house located on a side road opposite La Gualette police station. Multiple rooms on two floors some with a nice mountain view and others with a garden view. We thought we booked a mountain view room from the pictures associated with the room but it was a front-facing room. At the end, we didn't spend much time in the room, so it didn't bother us. Need to contact Shan/owner on wattsapp to arrange arrival time, then will meet and give keys and instructions. He was actually a pleasant guy to deal with and helpful. Parking for a few cars in the compound otherwise free street parking outside. There is a fridge, kitchen facilities and good sized shower room as well. There is a top loading washing machine provided for use outside and drying rack is also available. Overall good place to rest your head after long days at beach or hiking. Chose this place if you are renting a car. Public transport is available but unpredictable. Food options are limited off season or late in the evening with only 2 or 3 restaurants within walking distance. There is a supermarket nearby as well.

The lighting wasn't so good, so the room was quite dark. The safe wasn't working and a key wasn't supplied despite asking.

There was a bit of smell in the room and the sink was blocked. But Mr Shan did try and unblock it for us.

Mr Shan the owner was hospitable. Our plane landed late at night and it was raining hard. The drive to the property took longer than expected but Mr Shan was waiting by the gate for us well after check out time. The home was near the beach in Le Morne and easy access to the 7 coloured Earth. Close to shops and other amenities. The room was comfortable and clean. We got a clean midday through our stay. Definitely get what you paid for.

Everything was perfect, the accomodation is well equiped and is cleaned every day. The apartment was very spacious, had everything you needed, good location near a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Location just perfect for trips! Parking for 4 cars, but you can also safely park on the street.

Under bed and lounge chairs needed vacuuming. Shower head sprayed directly back to the wall. Kitchen had very burred/blunt knives and only 1 small frypan and saucepan to cook with.

Apartment was big as was the bed. Sitting/eating on the porch was lovely. Very secure. Small washing machine available in complex. Views lovely. Cosy.

During our stay, we stayed in two different apartments. The first one was modern, with a new and quiet AC, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen including an oven. The second apartment had an older, very noisy AC, no oven, and was significantly smaller. While the size itself wasn’t an issue, I found it surprising that both were rented at the same price. Also, neither apartment had basics like salt, pepper, or oil, which was annoying since you don’t want to buy those for just a week’s stay. That said, the overall value for money is excellent, and I would still recommend the place.

The owner rents cars and I wanted to rent one but he does not read messages on booking.com so he had not reserved any car for me. One definetely needs a car here.

We really appreciated daily cleaning service which kept insects away (esp. in comparison to other places where we stayed), the shade of trees in front of our room, the outside seating was very pleasant. Well equipped kitchen with clean utensils. Supermarket is at 3-5 minutes walking distance

Modern, well equipped, had everything that we needed. Extremely spacious with en suite bathroom and lovely kitchen. Very clean. It was also walking distance to a big supermarket and restaurants. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We used the apartment as a base to walk in the black gorge park.

The property owner was extremely polite and welcoming. The place was cleaned daily, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tranquility. The room was very spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was available, and restaurants and shops were within a five-minute walking distance. Le Morne Beach was approximately a 12-15 minute drive away, with a large free parking area nearby. It was one of the most beautiful beaches we visited—perhaps even the most stunning and expansive of them all

Great Location, very spacious, and the Management went above and beyond to be helpful. Clean, with large, comfortable bathroom plus fully stocked kitchen. Very close to very well stocked grocery store, perfect to stock up and cook some meals in the apt.
