My favourite thing was the staff. They really seem to care about you & your wellbeing! From Sanjay to Fatima to the Manager and everyone else (whose name I didn’t catch), a massive thankyou for making it such a pleasant stay! The location was also perfect - close to the beach and easily accessible, good safety provisions (maned 24/7), parking was personally good (I had a car and generally could get a park), the room was very spacious & had thought of lots of details (even plug in for mozzies!). I would happily stay again and recommend to friends & family!

The only thing, would probably be, I only wished my holiday was longer, to be able to enjoy the place a bit longer 😉

The room was, spacious and bright, with a little kitchenette. Rooms are cleaned daily, staff very friendly with excellent customer service. The view is to die for 😍 Staff go above and beyond to help. All rooms are air conditioned with nice shower rooms. We always felt safe as the place got security and CCTV. Convenient location, with swimming pool.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Mauritius. Spotlessly clean with excellent daily housekeeping, and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. It was an absolute pleasure to be there. The location is great – just a 2-minute walk along the shore to Mont Choisy Beach. It would, of course, be wonderful if the hotel had its own beach, but the property itself is very small, cozy, and intimate. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, and the view from the pool is simply stunning. The only downside was that our room was the closest to the road, so we could hear traffic noise, especially in the mornings when trucks passed by. Apart from that, everything was fantastic – especially the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness, hospitality, and willingness to help from the staff. I, unfortunately, didn’t remember their names, but the lady at the reception and the gentleman who carried our luggage to the room were the best! We met them every day during our week-long stay, and it was always nice to exchange a few words and feel like a truly valued guest. Staff score: 100 out of 100!

A HEATED POOL WOULD HAVE MADE IT PERFECT. HOWEVER, THE COLD SWIM WAS INVIGORATING !!!!

WE HAD A BEACH FACING ROOM FOR 5 NIGHTS AND ENJOYED EVERY BIT. THE WELL EQUIPPED KITCHENETTE WAS A GODSEND AS RESTAURANTS ARE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND AMIABLE. THE LOCATION IS GREAT WITH BEACHES ON BOTH SIDES WITHIN AN EASY SHORT WALK. THE SUNSETS WERE GLORIOUS. THANKS, SANJAY AND EACH AND EVERY ONE ON THE STAFF, ESPECIALLY THE NIGHT GUARD WHO DID HIS ROUNDS ALL NIGHT.

We stayed for three weeks, so we occasionally craved some TV time (I know, I know - we should be unplugging on vacation!). However, the TV was quite small and the sound quality wasn’t great. That said, it’s a minor issue and likely wouldn’t bother anyone staying for just a week or two. You’ll definitely need a car to reach supermarkets for daily shopping or to dine out in the evenings, as there isn’t much entertainment in the immediate area - unless you explore the neighboring hotels. That said, the property does offer a complimentary ride to a restaurant at a sister hotel located about 4 km away along the beach, which is a nice option.

The property is well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring guests feel comfortable. It’s located right on the beach and while the beachfront itself isn’t swimmable, a short two-minute walk along the shore takes you to the stunning public beach at Mon Choisy, perfect for swimming. The property sits right between two of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Each morning, we enjoyed long beach walks - either 3 km along Mon Choisy and Pointe Aux Canonniers or 2 km along Trou aux Biches. Evenings were perfect for peaceful sunset strolls. The studio apartments are surrounded by lush greenery, and from your balcony, you can enjoy breakfast with serene views of the vibrant vegetation. In the evenings, when we were tired from walking, we relaxed at a poolside loungers enjoying spectacular sunsets. The rooms are spacious and come with a small kitchenette, equipped with everything you need if you prefer to cook. If you have a car, there is a parking lot on the property which gets filled quickly by early evening, but there is a nice public parking just 30 meters away where there is always space.

The bathrooms are quite dated, and they don't offer any toiletries. Make sure to have yours. But this is a detail considering the price.

The staff was wonderful and the price was really good. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bed is comfortable.AC was working well. Located about 25/30 min walk from the beach and city centre. When it's not too hot, it's quite a nice walk. Otherwise, there's a bus stop nearby

The room had a bit of a damp/mouldy smell. But perhaps this is just common to the area bearing the humidity in mind? The accomodation is self-catering but it seemed like it was a bit tricky to get groceries nearby without a car (however there are restaurants a 5-min walk away and food vendors on the beach with fresh seafood and cocktails about a 10-min walk away).

Absolutely loved the swimming pool area. The pool creates the perfect setting for lovely swims and sunset pics! The beach is also right on your door step with a private gate accessible with your room card.

Beach is not right in front of the location, but as mentioned a 2-3 minute walk (but for us that wasn't a a drawback). Also one should know that the hotel next doors often plays loud music during the day and evenings, some might find this annoying (again for us it was fine as we went to bed late and our room faced in the other direction).

Beautiful location close by Mon Choisy beach! We had a lovely apartment including a little kitchen area and highly enjoyed our stay here. Mon Choisy is a beautiful beach which can be accessed by steps leading down from the pool and fron there its only a three minute walk. The pool area was beautiful too. The staff were very friendly and Cindy, who organizes the tours (such as boat trips etc.) is very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast can be ordered (if not included in your booking choice) and included fruits, jogurt and pastries. We can recommend Mon Choisy Beach R. for a relaxing stay.

We had a room on the ground floor with a small terrace and a beautiful view to the pool and the ocean. There is a sandy beach next to the hotel, it's about a 2-minute walk. The staff is very helpful, it's possible to order continental breakfast and there's a shuttle to a nearby hotel for dinner.

I didn’t like that, despite the many mosquitoes, the rooms didn’t have mosquito nets. They gave us mosquito repellent that you plug into the socket, but we still had to be very careful about opening the patio door in the evening. A mosquito net would make such a big difference, you could sleep with open door instead of the air-con. Apart from the beach, there isn't much within walking distance - no restaurants or supermarkets - but this didn't bother us since the area was peaceful and clean. Having shops nearby would likely have made it busier and noisier.

One of the things I liked most about this hotel was its beautiful garden. Although it is pretty small, it is very peaceful, quiet, and there are some very nice plants. It's right next to Mont Choisy beach, which is also a great advantage. It is also quite close to Trou aux Biches Beach, about 30 min by foot, 5 min by car, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Our room was ok, not too big, but sufficient for a shorter stay, 1 week, max 2. We always managed to park our car in the hotel's private parking, although it is not very big. But even of you don't find a parking place there, there's still a good free public parking next to the hotel. The staff was friendly; our room was cleaned every day. It's a great place to relax, I would return. I liked this place more than any busier areas like Grand Baie.
