Wining and dining is quite expensive. I missed more easthetic touch at serving drinks. As the whole island is all about the rum, it should be served with more imagination.

The scenery is amazing, with the touch of luxury, very kind and attentive personnel, delicious food.

I would recomend for best facilities that the heated pool in winter should be more heated. In winter is cold and a bit windy and to be honest was cold in the pool and sea. Would be more pleasant to have warm water to enjoy and why not both of pools since each has an amaizing view. The menu for late lanch from the bar would be good to have more varieties as well as in the breakfast. The food in general is good but is a bit overprice, most possible from the view of Le Morne.

I got married at Lux Le Morne. Will be a memory that I will never forget. The resort is on the middle of nature the Le Morne in the back makes you feel like you are in a movie. Also has many details that make a mix of traditional and modern style. The lagune water is crystal, and also resort is divided in two parts which each has a pool with Le Morne view. I do not remember the names of all the staff but thankful to all for the service to make my stay unforgatteble. I had a delay of the luggeges and when I come was stressed now I regret that I did not enjoy at the fullest. ( I was in Mauritius, why should be stressed for some clothes) The reception help me by communicating also with the airport to fasten the procedure. Mannie and the other girl from celebration corner was a huge support for my weeding as I was only with my fiance. The spa service , beach service, room service, all the waiters and staff from each of the restorants and bar was very polite and helpful. A vacation that will always has my heart with it.

Breakfast needs more variety and services needs to be a bit faster at lunch time.

The rooms are right in front of the beach, the food is great and the facilities offered are on par with other 5 star hotels.

Our stay at Lux Le Morne was nothing short of magical. The location is stunning, but what made our experience truly unforgettable was the warmth, professionalism, and integrity of the staff. The food was consistently delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and served with a smile. Whether we were dining at The Kitchen or The Beach, or enjoying a drink at the bar/café, we were always met with genuine care and attention. Dass, Nirmal, Balle, Brigitte, Eva, and many others made each meal feel special. A special thank you to Shahil, who was always incredibly kind and attentive at the beach on the hot pool side — such a genuine and professional person. In the evenings, Niaina and Eulaie took wonderful care of us at the bar, always making us feel relaxed and welcome. We also thoroughly enjoyed the activities at the boathouse — from paddleboarding to snorkelling, everything was smoothly organised. Huge thanks to Gaelle for coordinating everything so perfectly and with such a positive energy. One moment that really stood out was after checkout, when my wife realised she had forgotten a valuable item in our room. Thanks to the swift action and honesty of the maintenance team and the security manager, it was found and returned to us. Their integrity left a lasting impression. We left Lux Le Morne with full hearts, grateful for the people who made our stay so memorable.

    Nothing! Everything was perfect.

We stayed at 4 hotels in Mauritius and this was our favourite. The design is so beautiful and the view of Le Morne behind makes it out of a movie. Beach is one of the most beautiful ones in Mauritius and the hotel is also pretty close to some great activities such as dolphin swimming, seaplane and Chamarel. Food is incredible! The tasting menu at Kawaii is a must. Finally, the staff are the best. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Adam from the main restaurant and Hossen.

Seven glorious days at Lux le Morne has been an absolute delight. Think pristine white sandy beaches lined with palm trees bordered by azure sea with coral and turtles, shady cabanas, ice cream stands, multiple restaurants including the best 8 course Japanese meal I have ever had. amazing views, water sports and tantalising food. Everything is perfect. Then you add the special sauce the staff. The team bent over backwards with special touches to make the holiday fabulous. Chef Vik who cooked the most amazing meal on a table for two at the beach, executive chef Vishal who warmly offered to cook us a special creole meal and spoilt us silly on a daily basis, Hossen the head valet, Megan and Dylan from the pool and beach bars were incredible every day another special touch. Elodie the sparkling guest services manager was a delight. So many fabulous staff, I have never been to a resort with so many special people going well out of their way to make u feel like a rockstar. What an amazing piece of paradise. Book immediately you will not regret this fabulous spot.

Nothing. It was special and everyone went out of their way to make it wonderful for us.

Location, all the amenities and the amazing views and beach access. Le Morne .. where the Lux is situated was my favorite beach during my teens when we lived on the island — the views are dramatic and amazing. We received terrific service - a shout out to Sheshna (Front Office Manager), Hossen (Head Valet and really a Brand Ambassador) and the lovely Cindy in the restaurant. And a very special thank you to the Executive Chef Vishnu who had a traditional Mauritian Dinner prepared for us as a special treat. It was one of our best family vacations and everyone had a terrific time!

A few maintenance bits in the room- tap around the bath was leaking, the kettle didn’t work (promptly replaced) and coffee machine was leaking out of the side.

Lovely room and facilities, food was amazing, liked option of a la carte, pool was warmer than other hotels we stayed in on the island which was great for our baby, she LOVED the pool. We had a 15min delay checking in and the staff were very apologetic and arranged for us to have late check out until 4pm which was fab.

Early check-in was not provided, which created a poor first day experience because we travelled over night and were with a kid. Note : there were a lot of boats at the beach which marred the view to some extent

Location was exceptional. Staff was courteous, warm, helpful and welcoming. Food was delicious and quite a variety was available. Note: there were a lot of cats at the property.

The hotel has set up an initiative called TropiCat which essentially is a ‘solution’ to having too many stray cats roaming the hotel grounds. There is a small enclosure to the side of the hotel where 7 cats are housed at the moment. The cats look like young cats, and they look fairly healthy - but does beg the question of what happens when the cats get older or what happens when capacity is reached. Are these cats being neutered/spayed? This is important to control the stray population in general. I would say the enclosure is small, dark, and lacks enrichment activities that cats require (scratching posts, toys, warm beds etc). There is what appears to be an unused plot of land next to the enclosure which I think tropicat should extend to - some outdoor space where the cats can bask in the sun would be welcomed! Also perhaps the opportunity for guests to play with the cats which will also help to entertain and socialise them, and help to promote adoption if that is truly what the aim of this initiative is. We visited TropiCat a few times during our stay, and most of the cats would meow and come right up to the cage wall when we approached - it was a bit of a heartsink. Because the resort is fairly self contained and there aren’t many options outside for food, the prices at the hotel are steep. We ate at East, a Thai-inspired restaurant on site which was average, but mostly had the dinner buffets. The prices at the spa also were also prohibitively expensive. The WiFi is fairly slow and patchy at some places on the resort - I’ll let you be the judge of whether that is a pro or con!

Beautiful resort on a long stretch of beach - note the beach isn’t technically private but this wasn’t really an issue. Lots of comfortable sun loungers, multiple swimming pools, a pretty good gym, comfortable beds. Very well kept grounds with many palm trees etc. The buffet breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We went on a private dolphin viewing/swimming trip organised through the hotel, which takes you out on a 2h trip to Tamarind bay - was a wonderful experience! We saw a number of private dinners/meals being organised as well - looks like they are well experienced in arranging ‘experience dinners’ eg for honeymooners or proposals. The area is fairly isolated with not a whole lot around except other resorts and golf clubs. It is close to the Black River Gorges national park however which can make for a good day trip for sight seeing. We had minor issues in our room like the kettle not working, but they sent staff immediately to resolve the issue which was great. There is a casual bar/cafe area where in the evening there is often live music entertainment, and can serve as a nice shelter on rainy days! There are a number of board and card games there to loan for free. They have really lovely courtesy rooms which have a shower/bathroom/changing area, which was perfect for us to freshen up after checking out in the morning but before our nighttime flight.

Being an English speaker, there were some communication barriers, very few but I did wish they communicated more clearer about the dress code for not included restaurants. The food at the all inclusive restaurant really lacked seasoning / salt on all meals we had that weekend. There's a variety of options for food giving you a great variety but the food wasn't a highlight at all at the resort - we had better food at a local family owned restaurant in one of the smaller towns outside of the resort.

Driver Iqbal, Bianca, and two of the barmen whose names I've forgotten were great in particular. Staff in general were very friendly and were helpful as best as they could. Very efficient service all around. If you're there to relax only 1000% the place to be but there's no real vibe at the resort but probably by design. I would recommend it 100% but would just inform others about the cons to manage expectations. Service, second to none, great sea views and clean. Absolutely stunning views.

We had the all-inclusive package, and while everything was great, we noticed that we had to sign a bill each time. To make the experience even smoother, perhaps introducing an electronic bracelet system could help the process.
