The location was unbeatable. Just steps away from the most idyllic beach, which had relatively little foot-fall. It felt like paradise. Coco-Fesse is tucked away in a quiet private garden, giving privacy and quietness. We had access to kayaks, barbeque, and a beachside shower to rinse the salt off. If you are looking for a trip out to see dolphins, turtles, whales or the northern islands, I would recommend asking the host for Robert's number - a fantastic guide who will pick you up in his boat from the beach. There are well-stocked shops, and excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance. The associated car rental and transfer service was excellent. The hosts and maids and gardener were all very friendly and kind, and it was nice to have a laundry service and the accommodation cleaned each day. When compared with other accommodation nearby, the value for money can't be beaten. We couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The hosts are incredibly nice, the property is amazing with a lovely little garden, directly on a private, tranquil stretch of beach. The entire flat was cleaned daily, and access to the grand bay center is around 4 minutes by car. Perfect! Oh and their cat, Prince, is adorable!

You need a car - you can't just go out and walk around because there is just no walkway to be safe

It was the greatest accomodation I have ever had. Wonderful appartment with a beautiful garden and private excess to the beach with privat sunbeds for the guests. We loved to use the SUP and kayaks for free!! In the kitchen there is everything you need and we got fresh filtered water every day. Thank you very much for this spectacular stay!

Everything from the host to the location, the facilities, etc. Was literally perfect. The lovely hosts helped me to find several services at the best price in the city, and were particularly flexible and generous during my stay, and even beyond mt checkout. I strongly recommend Coconuts for any traveler to Grand Baie, Mauritius.

To get to the centre of Grand Baie it is about a 10 minute walk with some parts having no footpath

Spacious and clean accommodation, owners couldn't do enough to help. The private beach is perfect. Cleaning staff are very efficient and even did some laundry for no extra cost.

There is nothing to complain about.

Exceptional accommodation. Perfect location with beautiful gardens and beach directly in front of the apartment. Bernard and Stephanie were the most amazing hosts. We felt like we were staying with family. We had the most amazing lady called Sumata (excuse my spelling), clean the apartment, and do our laundry. We will never forget our time at CocoNuts and Mauritius.

We really didn't have any complaints although we appreciate everyone is different and therefore some may find the location a little too far from the centre of Grand Baie. There isn't a proper pavement all the way along the road however we bought a small torch for our evening walk to/from Grand Baie and never once felt unsafe. The property is set in super pretty gardens so please remember to apply mosquito repellent if you're outside from dusk!

We stayed at Coconuts for 8 nights and hired a car (arranged through the property in advance of our stay) so we could travel around and see the real Mauritius for ourselves. The property is situated directly on a gorgeous beach within a 20 minute walk of the centre of Grand Baie which suited us down to the ground as we'd prefer to stay somewhere quiet. There are plenty of great restaurants, cafes and shops within 20-30 mins walk and most days, after returning from our travels in the car, we had had the beach area to ourselves. The property is clean, well equipped and comfortable and Bernard and Stephanie made us feel really welcome.
