The location west facing, looking out into the sea, balcony with table and chairs and room for yoga mat. Aircon and firm bed. Shower fine, towels supplied, bring your own toiletries. Kitchen well supplied. Just over a km to the supermarket and eateries. Chilled here loved the locals. Stayed 6 days, could easily stay longer. Had a car to explore south west of the island. Cleaner, Nicole, a lovely lady, came in each day. Now off to the East.

Location of the property in relation to shops and restaurants would need the use of a car (it would take 20+ minutes to walk.). The shower was temperamental, with very fine adjustments required for hot & cold water. Shame that the shoreline in front of the property was not conducive to walk or swimming. An external sign is required roadside, to show the location of the property (existing sign, faded and tucked away out of sight).

Cockerels crowing from 3am ! If u want to sleep in the back bedroom just take earplugs or sleep in the front bedroom which was fine .

Good sized and well equipped appartment with lovely view from balcony across the water . Owner was very attentive and the cleaner was very friendly and efficient.

I had to think hard for this one. The neighbour's have chickens which crow early in the morning, but in the bedrooms you can't hear it, only in the lounge, and we came to love the chickens wandering around. The main road is right there so traffic can be noisy. But please give this place a try it's so great you won't mind these small inconveniences.

Best thing was the sunset!!!! Baywatch is a great place to stay. Very spacious, comfy beds, has everything you need (aircon, fridge, oven, stove, barbecue, parking, free wifi). The host is super responsive on WhatsApp and email. The location is very accessible. We didn't hire a car, the village is 15 minutes walk and the bus stops right outside the house. We loved the bus, so cheap and easy. Thanks so much for an amazing stay, we loved Mauritius and hope to be back!

We were satisfied with this accommodation. We felt like at home. It is clean, nice and good place for very good price. If you rent a car, please be careful when you drive in/out from house. The beach is not suitable for swimming or even walking, but there are beaches near the bay but it needs a car.

this property has a nice view of the sea from the balcony, and the mountain from the back, which was really nice. It has a safe private parking yard. I had my room cleaned every day. The room was equipped with everything that I needed.

The remote didn't work sometimes but just keep trying. There was nothing else because the hosts were amazing they came to us and helped with all our needs. Message the host or his son for help they are great and very knowledgeable.

There were restaurants and supermarkets very close by that were great and safe. The sunset in front of the room every day was nice as well.

A big road behind, it is no noise problem, only difficult when you have to get out with the car.

Need better entrance signage ..was difficult to locate the first time.

Being South African, we cherish our braais, and having a Weber is certainly a delightful addition, especially with a view overlooking the bay. We were captivated by the serene view of the bay, watching fruit bats at dusk, and neighboring dogs playing in the mud in the morning – truly a tranquil haven. The abundance of towels was appreciated, and the cleanliness surpassed our experiences at other properties. The daily effort of the cleaner, always accompanied by a smile, added to the positive experience.

The kitchen equipment was very basic but still manageable.

The view is beautiful. The garden downstairs was being landscaped while we were there so this will really improve the outlook. Secure parking on the premises. Apartment was cleaned during our stay which was great. Ansraw is a great host and answered our messages very quickly. We will stay here again.

If you staying at the groundfloor prepare yourself for ants, spiders and cockroaches snd plenty mosquitoes :/ Eventhough it was cleaned there were spider webs around and wasn’t the cleanest place i’ve stayed but okay for the value. The garden could be so much nicer with some flowers or plants!

Nice with the ocean view but it isn’t a beach. The lady cleaned the apartment everyday during the weekdays:) it is 10 mins drive from Le Morne beach, that’s why picked this place.

Perfect location for exploring nartional park and southwest of Mauritius. In my opinion, best beach on the island - Le Morne is only 10 min driving. Apartement was clean, spacious and well equiped. Stunning terace with view. Staff was really friendly and kind. Also parking at yard was good.

Nothing about the property per se. But We checked in pretty late and couldn't find any decent place nearby to eat out.

Cosy little place with awesome view of sea from terrace. (The sunset especially). Very friendly and helpful owner.
