How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewOur first time on this beautiful island, and what an amazing discovery! Our stay at Jadis was simply wonderful — the room was exactly as shown in the photos, and the pool in our room was always at the perfect temperature. The setting is stunning, and the beach is just as beautiful! The hotel has a lovely, intimate feel, so different from the big resorts in Flic en Flac that look more like holiday complexes. The staff were truly outstanding, with service worthy of a Parisian palace — a special mention to Justice and Runi, who always greeted us with a warm smile and kind words, making us feel at home.
If we had to mention small points for improvement: the Wi-Fi could be better, the selection of TV channels was quite limited, and the breakfast juices tasted a bit like concentrate rather than fresh. The fruits also weren’t at their best — and if they’re not in season, maybe it’s better not to serve them. But these are minor details compared to the overall experience, which was truly unforgettable!

The pools were cold and we couldnt swim... they say they heat it to 28 degrees... but it is too cold to swim still in July.

My husband and I chose the Le Jadis to get ready together and do our wedding photoshoot. We also spent our wedding night there. From start to finish, everything was so dreamy and magical. A huge thank you to Mr. Wassim, who went above and beyond to coordinate and fine-tune every single requests that we had. He brought all of them to life with such care and professionalism. Upon our arrival at the hotel, to our great surprise we were upgraded to a luxurious room with a private heated pool. The room was so spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a breathtaking view. We fell in love with the ambiance right the moment we entered it. We got ready at the hotel, and our photoshoot turned out absolutely amazing thanks to the picturesque view and luxurious hotel surrounding. The hotel itself is just so beautiful— it set the perfect tone for such a special day. After our wedding reception, we returned to find our room romantically decorated with rose petals and candles, creating the most dreamy turndown setup. It was everything I had imagined and more — our wedding night was simply perfect. The next morning, we ordered a floating breakfast, and we were speechless. The presentation, the flavours, and the entire experience of enjoying it while swimming in the heated pool felt so romantic and intimate. Every little detail was thoughtfully curated, and we enjoyed every facility to the fullest. We are beyond grateful to Mr. Wassim and the entire team at Le Jadis for making our wedding stay so incredibly memorable. It truly felt like a dream come true. ❤️ We highly recommend Le Jadis !

All F&B outlets were closed expect the main restaurant. The heated private pool was cold and didn’t heat till last day. Most staff were untrained (e.g. not being polite in the phone, asked for stuff and the refused to provide, as the claim that they have already provided, many times asked them to heat the pool and they forget every single time even the GM was on top of it but no result). Also the water bottles in the room was refilled in a weird way, had to purchase from outside. Beach was rocky, lots of mosquitos

Clean level poor and the hygiene

Verified reviewI like it because it’s peaceful , good location for sunset sighting, the room is spacious and the staff generally are service oriented, every attempt was made to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. F&B staff were flexible to accommodate our dietary requirements.
I did not like that the pool is not heated during winter and the gym is not opened 24 hours. The gym is too small to do floor exercises. The pricing of the food menu in the restaurant is not competitive with those in other 5 star hotels along Balaclava beach. And they can do better with their breakfast buffet.
