Everything was good, the staff was really good.

Slim doors and sometimes too much of noise from the stairs

Our room was truly excellent. A fantastic view from the balcony, a huge comfy bed and nice touches in the room including wine, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Pre check-in information was great and restaurant recommendations were much appreciated. Breakfast was lovely with good variety.

Everything was excellent, with beautiful views and a great location. The host was very accommodating, allowing us to keep the room longer on our last day until our evening flight. Highly recommend.

Everything were perfect. Quiet, comfortable, the view from the room was very stunning and Mariella was very accommodating. The location of the property was just awesome. Definitely will highly recommend and would come back.

We were offered a free upgrade to a room with view of port. Recommend view of port if possible. Balcony with 2 chairs to relax and enjoy the ports colorful comings and goings

We loved this top floor apartment with super view over the harbour from the terrace. It had everything we needed for our six night stay- comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, some simple kitchen facilities (small fridge, sink and microwave) and a lovely outside space. Mariella was really welcoming, friendly and helpful.

A bit more variety in breakfasts would be good…

Fantastic location and super friendly staff

Great location overlooking the boats in the bay close to the market and restaurants. Lovely comfortable room with good facilities. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and hot food was easy to request. The host Mariella was great, really helpful with sightseeing and travel information.

Great location - I booked a room overlooking the harbor with a (mini) balcony. Clean & neat. Good value for money but not quite up to my usual expectations for boutique properties.

Bit of a sewer type smell from the bathroom - while this can be an issue with older renovated buildings it was difficult to ignore. Breakfast was adequate - I didn’t avail myself of the hot item option.

Very good location and the room was clean and cozy. Very friendly service and helpful instructions. Big market on Sundays right next to the hotel. A very nice and quiet fishing village.

You have to take into account the church bells or you have to sleep with the balcony door closed 😊 If you stay overnight for several days, the same breakfast can get boring.

English breakfast, heated in the microwave. The nearest beach is very dirty, there is a lot of garbage, although the sea is clean.During the week we lived in the hotel, the bedding was never changed, even the one that was obviously dirty.A small village in which it is good to stay for a few days. Being there for a week is boring and not interesting

Everything was perfect. Beautiful romantic harbor. The possibility of arriving in the capital Valletta directly by bus. There was a beautiful beach right at the end of the harbor

The Shipwrights is hosted by Roland and Mariella who were both fabulous hosts and being local, very helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect for our needs including a kettle (tea and coffee making facilities), all power points were UK so no need for adaptors. The room had a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, a small key safe and ample wardrobe space. The shower was great and very hot. The breakfast was mainly continental, but you could order hot dog sausages, boiled eggs and bacon if required, toast, various jams, a selection of ham and cheese and yogurt, great coffee and juice. More than enough to start the day. The Shipwrights is a boutique Hotel with coded rooms and end entrance (although full keys are provided). The location is perfect and just far enough away from the main area to allow a great peaceful night’s sleep. Marsaxlokk is the perfect location to travel the Island and a beautiful working fishing village with numerous restaurants and cafes.

Great location. Hosts were really helpful and gave us great recommendations for dinner. 2 small bottles of wine in the room, which was a really nice touch. We had the quadruple room on the top floor, so we had a large balcony overlooking the bay.

Breakfast was very minimal. The staff was sweet and the coffee was good. The other selections were basically toast and packaged pastries.

There could have been more fresh fruit and pastries.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were clean and cozy. The balcony was really big,with an amazing view over the Harbour. The accomodation is placed really close to the restaurants, to the beach and the bus station. The breakfast was more than enough with everything you want. Thank You for your hospitality, Marilena.

The bed from the living room is a Little bit to small for 2 adults (for 2 kids or 1 adult is perfect).

The suite was clean and cosy, for our 4 members family guite enough. The location and the see view balcony was unbelievable. A nice place to relax ourselves. Owners were friendly and helped us we needed anything. Communication with Mariella was perfect.
