Breakfast was rich and delicious, but if you're a bigger group, it's not easy to sit together or then downstairs on the cellar where it's not that comfortable

Had to book here last minute and the service was amazing. Staff did a perfect job in making you feel welcome even after our stay was over as we left our luggage till we were able to travel to our next accommodation. Also located well in the centre of Valletta. Would stay here again and strongly recommend to family and friends.

The maids were amazing and so accommodating; Petra (our Receptionist/ day manager) was so welcoming and attentive; the restaurant attached served the most incredible food: we ate there for breakfast (included), lunch (if we were close by) and dinner. #room403

Tucjed away off the main street, the hotel is a short walk from, everything! Great Food, great cafes and bars, even took in a movie at the Cinema. The Harbour and related tours are on your doorstep and the welcome is warm and friendly.

This was a lucky accidental find, as we had a lst minute stop-over, The staff were excellent, the room was a good size for our family and the breakfast was great. If you are looking for a base to explore Valetta - this is 10/10.

The location can’t be beat. You literally walk out and all of Valleta is at your door steps including the famous steps. Definitely staying here again.

No pool as described - it is a jacuzzi and awkward to use with more than two people in it. Despite upgrading to the room with terrace balcony, there was no umbrella for shade from the sun and there was little (only up to hip height) barrier between the balconies next door (so no privacy from neighbours).

Great location - central, convenient and walking distance to explore all of Valletta. Helpful friendly staff. Good breakfast provided every morning.

Cannot call the reception directly from the room-very stupid system of calling a central line which then has guests call another number to reach the reception. The breakfast has no basic sandwich and such options (ham or salami or proscuitto and cheese would be nice). Only heavy panckake and eggs/omlet options off a menu.

Fantastic spot in the hearth of the Valletta. Close to all the important landmarks with very stylish rooms and TV with wast selection of channels. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

Would have been nice to have sun umbrellas at the tables on the roof terrace, it was too hot to stay there in the daytime without any shade.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, we had dinner in the hotel one evening and that was also really good. I'd definitely stay at the Cumberland again

The rooftop could do with some comfy seating and shade although the air conditioning units were very noisy up on the roof.
