What an absolute gem of a place! So good I almost hesitate to share with the world as I would love to keep it to myself. The care and love that has gone into this please is obvious in every little detail; from breakfast to the rooms and pool area.

We recently stayed at this B&B and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. The whole place looks so modern, fresh, and beautifully decorated, yet still feels cozy and welcoming. Everything was spotless—honestly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, which made us feel completely relaxed and at ease. The real highlight, though, was the hosts. They were truly amazing—so friendly, warm, and always willing to go out of their way to help us with anything we needed. You can really tell they put so much love and care into running the B&B, and it makes such a difference. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and how comfortable everything felt, from the rooms to the shared spaces. Every little detail seemed carefully thought out, which made our stay feel extra special. Overall, it was just perfect: a modern, clean, and stylish place hosted by the loveliest people. We left feeling so happy and already talking about when we could come back. If you’re thinking about booking, do it—you won’t regret it!

We loved everything! Matthew and Clementa are awesome and friendly hosts. We had lovely breakfasts and the swimming pool in the courtyard oasis was so lovely after a hot day of walking and sightseeing. Thank you Matthew and Clementa for making our stay in Gozo amazing!

Beautifully decorated place. Owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the garden was very enjoyable. Pool area is small (just as photos show), but relaxing. We had the room with the jacuzzi bath, which was so dreamy to lay in and look out at the view. Absolutely loved it and would definitely come back here!

This place exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Matthew and Clementa are very welcoming and accommodating. We were assisted with everything we requested. The place was super clean, the location was great - close to Rabat and at the same time quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was also great and the coffee was amazing :) 10 points go to the coffee machine (great choice). We loved everything in our room, very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, too. We will surely visit the Carob tree again! Thank you for everything :)

The Carob Tree is a beautiful villa which has everything we needed and offered a quiet and welcoming place to relax by the pool after a day of exploring. A superb property with wonderful owners. We felt really well looked after. Especially as I need a gluten free diet. The owners made sure that I had nice gluten free bread for my breakfast every day. The room was really comfortable and quiet for good nights sleep. Certainly would recommend this property to anyone staying on Gozo.

Slightly out of town - probably a 20 minute walk, but very quick drive and plenty of parking near town so very easy if you have a car.

Property was great! Very clean and spacious. Lovely kitchen and eating areas. Rooms were clean, bright and spacious. Hosts were great - very attentive and generous with their recommendations. Breakfast each morning was great, option to eat indoors or outdoors and lots of food options. Cannot recommend this property more, ticked all our boxes!

The carob tree is just the best b&b I have ever been too. It is like home from home, but with sunshine and fabulous surroundings! We love exploring so was perfect for us being able to go out with a car and also on foot. The breakfast was great and being able access to water and tea and coffee all day is fab!

We stayed at The Carob Tree for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very relaxing. The beautiful design of the house, always very very clean, family atmosphere, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very varied and delicious. The location is also very good, with Uber or Bolt you can reach everything in less than 10-15 minutes. If we ever go on holiday to Gozo again, we will definitely stay at Carob Tree again.
