Noisy breakfast area

Very good service and it was no problem shifting room as our first option had a bad smell

The shower glass doors came off the rollers & my husband s add most got scalded very badly. We reported it to staff however it wasn’t fixed for 2 & half days & was extremely dangerous as the glass doors could have actually fallen off.

The double deluxe rooms were lovely with a great sea view balcony. However the triple room was extremely dark with no balcony or terrace.

We didn't have hot water for showers first 24 hours until fixed and the air conditioner seemed to be on a 30 minute timer!

Some guests returning in the middle of the night (or early morning) were very rowdy & noisy - shouting and slamming doors etc. Staff generally managed to control the situation quickly but a good night of sleep was difficult.

In the same building are accommodated EF students(foreigners) , which makes so much noise during night.... Couldn't really sleep.

Location is great, been living in Malta for few years and I always choose location around Balluta bay to stay (beach, restaurants, promenade, etc) Breakfast are OK, but you can easily grab just pistachio croissant (3e) and coffee (1.5e-2e)from near by cafes... Room is good value for money, A/C works well, there is a lift, and very central location. Could have bit more maintanance, but can't really complain for 52e/night with breakfast in June....

Unfortunately, our experience was not great. There was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the toilets were extremely small and uncomfortable to use. Worst of all, on the second night, we found a cockroach on the floor.

There was an odd smell, both in the hotel and in the rooms. It was not very well cleaned. Lifts were small, queues during the rush hours (e.g., breakfast time). At one point, the whole day, the lift did not stay, we needed to use the stairs (on a hot summer day). And finally, there was a large closet, a safe inside of the room, but for a mini fridge, they ask for 15eur daily! In a hotel in a mediterranian city which is so hot durinf summer days, throughout which one almost always needs cold water. This was unexpected!

It was well located, right in the center, and very close to the bus stop.

Just a little moan that the lift was out of order for the best part of 4 days out of our 6 day stay. Being on the 4th floor was a struggle every time you wanted to go anywhere.

The room was great the beds very comfortable. An amazing view of the bay from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and good breakfast

The room was very run down which made it have an unclean feel. The shower was rather small and when bending down to get soap ect you would hit your back on the temperature control. When standing, it felt very claustrophobic as you couldn't stand central or again your back would press the temperature control lever, turning the shower off. The hairdryer holder came off the wall when using it so you had the extra weight of the hairdryer holder during use. The television had very limited channels and there was also no information within the room in regards to WiFi ect. We were given twin beds but the duvet on the bed was actually two singles and you could feel the join in the bed whilst in it so couldn't get full use of the whole bed when sleeping. The lift was also broken so we had to walk up quite a few flights of stairs to get to our room. The staircase was extremely narrow with low ceilings which was no easy task when trying to carry cases. You also couldn't have a person coming in the opposite direction as it was too narrow.

The receptionist and housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful. Especially housekeeping as we were having difficulties with our room key and she contacted maintenance who came very quickly.

The hotel was busier than I was expecting. The aircon was under pressure and at times it felt like it was extremely warm although the outside temperature was 32 degrees. I didnt eat breakfast at the hotel but my fellow travellers said it was adequate.

Room was clean and spacious. The hotel was great for location-lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and transportation. I felt safe as a lone traveller.

Our room when we arrived wasn’t the cleanest I will be honest and we called to ask if it could be cleaned as it was in the bathroom area and there was no night staff available for this however we didn’t have any problems after that

AC , Lift and bath rooms need urgent upgrade to be able offer client a minimum comfort stay and . It is really a € 50/d Hostal . Seaview rooms are a bit better, but showers are still terrible.

Breakfast hours would be nice to be longer - only 2 hours until 9:30 is not enough especially when the hotel for people on the vacation and more breakfast variety. Soundproof on the room is not the best. Reception have to have more towels for the public shower, we were 2 people but they give for us only one argumenting this that they have only few left. It was okay for us because we are married, but still a bit strange argumentation. For few days to stay the hotel is good, but some improvement will make better impression next time.

Location was very good. Hotel located on the sea line with several restaurants and Spar which works 24hours nearby. Polite staff. We stay at hotel for 3 nights and have breakfast included. Breakfast buffet have all basic breakfast products and breakfast staff were good. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily. There was safe in the room, air conditioner, kettle with coffee facilities, hair-dryer, shampoo and another bath facilities. Also hotel have public shower on the 7th floor - it was good thing to have shower if you already checked-out, but flight is late.

Noise at night either in other rooms or outside Also having to pay for a fridge in the room at 10 euros per night. Normally nowadays this is standard. I didn't have my room cleaned for 1 and a half days. When 2 gentlenen came in the afternoon. I asked for clean cups. He immediately went to the bathroom washed the cups with his fingers and the spoon and was putting them back on the tray. I said this was not acceptable and that I wanted clean cups.

The location is perfect. The room 317 was , clean big bathroom and comfy beds and quiet from road noise. Great ac nice clean beds and sheets , the Managers and their assistants are very professional and made our stay welcoming and comfortable
