How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It was difficult to find the property and it would have been good to have more detailed instructions about its location and where to park our car.
A very pleasant experience and the breakfasts were amazing.

Everything the place is perfect , the host was such a nice lady and made sure we had a lovely room with a big bed, as my partner it quite tall. The room was clean and with aircon , the location was perfect and the breakfast was amazing, I recommend the host homemade yogurt!

Nothing, literally wish I stayed my entire time on GOZO here
An absolutely stunning location, the lady that works there is a real life saver, I accidentally left my passport and she worked with me so I could get it back.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It’s in a quiet, central location in Victoria. The staff were lovely and the included breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Great location- 5 minutes walk to the bus station that takes you all over the island, 5 minutes walk to Citadella, 2 minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Room- was lovely- actually much nicer than the photos. Bed is so comfortable. Big window- lots of air plus air conditioning. Shower had hot water. No noise which was welcoming. Breakfast- buffet style and delicious. Host- was lovely and facilitated an early arrival and stores luggage as I was leaving late. He helped with recommendations for restaurants and best beaches and he was 100% accurate. Highly recommend

The wall, separating rooms, is very thin ... you hear "everything" from next room. :) The mattress was kinda soft what usually bothers me, but this time (3 nights), I didn't have any problem with my back in the morning. WiFi was weak, breaking.
Location, the old walls in the room (those are not thin :) ) and cute small bathroom.

The bed made noises, the matrasse was really soft, which can be inconvenient for some people. But overall the room was cosy and nice.
It is right in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk from the Citadella and main square. The owner was kind and helpful.

A little small bedroom and shower cabin.. Towels must have been slow dried, for they were clean but smelly. Light comes in the room even in the night from the street, and early in the morning, once there is a very thin curtain.
Staff was perfect, very nice and helpful people. Easy to check in and check out, even afterhours. Very good location, nice rooftop. Decoration was very nice too, and well served breakfast is available. Do try the fresh ricota.. amazing!

Breakfast was okay, but that is not really a big deal to us.
The location is right near St. George Square in Victoria and was very easy walk to the bus terminal. We used the metro bus service for all our transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to leave luggage before and after check-in and check-out. Rooms where cool

We didn't get the wifi to work, but that was not really a problem for us 🙂
Perfect place close to everything, with lovely hosts and a great breakfast. Loved the terrace! We were really happy with our stay, and plan to be back soon ☺
