United KingdomA smelly of cannabis that was evident on the lower floor whilst walking up and down the main stairway whilst accessing the pool or reception areas. I did bring it to the attention to one of the reception team members of staff who indicated she would inform the appropriate members of management. Unfortunately a few days later only to continue smelling a strong distinct odour of cannabis use I assume coming from one of the lower ground floor rooms!

The location of the hotel was perfect, for the price I couldn't have expected better overall! The staff was kind and helpful.

the room i stayed in was quite large and the beds were comfortable. there was an issue with water dripping in the shower which was fixed the next day, when i mentioned it to the front desk. there is a restaurant next door which served great food and bus tops within 5 mins walks, including grocery shops nearby. The sea side is within 5 mins walk from the front door of the hotel.

United KingdomOnly two minor criticisms. My room overlooked the restaurant which was noisy at night. Turned on aircon/heater to off set this problem. The shower could be a little temperamental if other people were also using one in other rooms.
My room was large and airy. It had recently been refurbished so everything new and very clean. Also convenient for parking my hire car outside the hotel.

United KingdomMy room was on the lower floor, so not much in the way of a view from window unfortunately. - I found I had to be careful whilst using the shower, as the tray was quite shallow and if shower curtain fell outside tray , water got out. If shower curtain fell inside the tray then it potentially blocked drainhole , water built up and leaked. -Thankfully , it's a tiled floor so no harm done unless you are really reckless! Also, quite a fair bit of noise from loud guests in the same corridor that continued late at night sometimes. Not a criticism of hotel though, just of guests that can't seem to do much else than go to a new place only to spend that time getting p*ss*d, unnecessarily.
Quite enjoyed the decor/halls pictures/old advertising etc. Also liked the minimal/sparse clear room which was large and very spacious! On arrival , access card and written details/ information were all left so was perfectly easy to resume and get on with rest or other plans.

United KingdomThe pool looked nice but it was a tiny bit intimidating that it was completely surrounded by tables from the restaurant, if you went in it you'd have to walk in front of diners. I'm not sure I'd pay extra again for the sea view because below it you can see quite a bit of mess from the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is about ten minutes walking from the town and right next to the beach. Our room was a nice size, good facilities and spotlessly clean. Would definitely return!

United KingdomMetal bed so everytime you turned it made a noise , maybe seeing if it can be oiled would help. We were in room 210 and the swimming pool was close by you could hear the hum of the pool filtering all night.. Went for a shower late at night and there was no hot water.
Large modern room , USB sockets beside bed. Plenty of storage in room . Very good air con Malcom the staff member was absolutely fantastic. I only stayed one night so can't comment on facilities. The hotel was under renovation but this didn't bother us as it didn't affect our stay in any way. Communication with hotel was good
