Reviews of SeaFront Apartment Marsascala

The apartment is located in such a wonderful area, very quiet and with a lot of beaches nearby, a lot of restaurants as well. The only problem we had was related with some equipments that were in a severe need of changing. Hopefully the host will solve that problem in time, otherwise everything was just perfect. Definitely would recommend the place for at least 6 persons, it was very big. We mostly used bolt to move around, we did tried the bus too (the station is very close by). A convenient store is about 12-15 minutes away. The traffic is a bit hectic in some areas, so I would not recommend renting a car.

The AC , as it was warm during mid of the day when we are home ac is a good part of the apartment. The apartment was well kept.

All facilities were good but one thing I noticed was the bed is squeaking every time you move.

The apartment is located in a great location for relaxation, swimming, diving, running, etc. It was great that there was always a place to park and a choice of bars and restaurants, in the immediate vicinity or a short walk away. There was also a paid public swimming pool nearby. The view of the sea from the living room window was priceless. There was a grill available, and the possibility of grilling on the rocks by the house used by other tourists or residents is a great thing. Very nice, friendly and helpful owner, who responded quickly if you reported any needs. the street where the apartment was located was quiet and peaceful. We recommend renting kayaks in San Tomas Bay and go through the rock window and the nearby cave.

The kitchen equipment could be improved with a dishwasher, and some of the kitchen equipment could be replaced with a new one, especially the frying pan. It's a pity that there is no additional shade on the roof to enjoy the roof terrace, it was too hot for us. We had to drive to the shops, but when planning trips and shopping after them, it was not a problem.

We liked the views from the balcony and the sound of the sea! Location isn't bad but it is at least 12-15 minutes away from the closest grocery store. Apartment is relatively well equipped.

We encountered several problems upon late-night arrival: no drinking water provided (tap water not potable) and this was a really major issue as we arrived after midnight. Incorrect WiFi credentials were provided by the host a number of times, which was strange as inside the apartment we found the correct ones posted on the wall. Before coming we asked if there was moka in the apartment and despite prior confirmation, it was not there, which ruined our morning. Emergency contacts didn't respond when called. The host worked to resolve these issues, but it created a poor first and second impressions. Location is nice, though the nearest grocery store is 12-15 minutes away. The apartment shows its age with very worn towels, rusted (but functional) refrigerator, blunt kitchen knives, and an overly firm mattress on one bed. We had to rewash dishes and glasses due to cleanliness concerns as there is no dishwasher in the apartment. We would potentially book again if improvements are made. Hopefully these were isolated incidents.

Great place to stay, appartment is right at the coast - very nice view of the bay and opposite coastal area from balcony, number of good restaurants within 10-min walk from here, great starting place for visting sightseeings (Valletta, Mdina Mnajdra, Dingli Cliffs, etc.) The appartment size is optimal for 6-7 people. Dario (the host) is very communicative and always willing to help or give an advice!

- Amazing place right opposite to the sea - Stunning seaview from the livingroom and the large balcony - three separate airconditioned bedrooms with comfortable beds - really good wifi - last but not least very kind and helpful owner Dario

- water not suitable for drinking - it was an upleasant surprise when we had arrived at midnight and we discovered this information in the kitchen. At least one bottle of drinking water in the fridge would be great

The bedding / towels could have been more up to date / but it was adequate and comfortable.

Nice, quiet neighbourhood with beautiful view to the sea. The apartment was spacious and clean. We could always find a parking place for free.

A wonderful quiet and cozy place. Divine view from the balcony. Restaurants, cafes, shops, - everything is nearby. The connection to Valletta is excellent. A wonderful place to relax.

- excelent location for us: close to the sea, beautiful view, very quiet,very close to the bus station. - big apartment, AC in every room, clean, 2 bathrooms is always a plus, having all needed appliances. Very comfortable. - hosts were great, friendly, helpful in any situation. Very good communication. All in all it was great!

- internet was not the best, but usable. - some of the beds were sqeaking, but wasn't annoying. To be fair, minor inconvencies in the overall evaluation.

AWAY FROM THE MAIN TOURIST AREA SO QUIETER , GREAT VIEW , BY THE SEA

The location is great if you rent a car. It's spacious, and has an amazing view. The host was really friendly and responsive.

Needs renovation, and the AC in one of the rooms is in desperate need of a service. It reeks!

The apartment was clean, in a good location, had amazing views, and it was very comfortable even for a big group of 9 people. Dario went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience.

Even though Marsaskala is not a very lively town, the apartment is in a great location to explore the island if you have a car.

The apartment was spacious, clean and the bed very cosy. Our host was extremely welcoming and helpful. Great location, super nice view! Everything was very good and we had a great experience.
