How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe sandy beach is near the hotel, you have to cross only a road. There are lot of pools, and also an all inclusive PLUS service, which we found very good. You can try several different restaurants.
The hotel is overcrowded, there are no seats at the pool - all are reserved by the guest with a towel early morning. Our room was full with ants and the safe did not work ( the handyman of the hotel was not able to repair it). The menu is more or less the same every day.

We didn't like the difficulty of booking the Salia restaurant and the fact that we could only book in once during our stay. Considering we payed for the all inclusive plus package we think all of the restaurants should have been available to us at no extra charge. The coral restaurant was noisy and quite basic. Mini golf was also not what we were expecting. Maybe it could do with an upgrade on the mini golf area.

The pool was colder than I would find comfortable. Access to water was limited to a dispenser in the reception area, not ideal as you needed your own bottle which we didn’t bring plus if you were by the pool it was tedious to have to be dry and covered to get it. Verified reviewSafe didn't work, reported but still not looked at. Our view was sea view, all we saw was a triangle of brick walls. Booking. Com says free parking. However after reaching hotel, we had to pay for parking, which if we had known, it would have worked out cheaper to get taxi !!

Verified reviewThe hotel is strategically located for anyone wanting to enjoy all the amazing sandy beaches Malta has to offer! The staff are super friendly and the hotel facilities and entertainment are pretty good. Food in Coral restaurant is decent but nothing exceptional (the afternoon snacks are defo a must try!).
The hotel rooms need to be modernised, the hairdryer is too old and too slow, and unfortunately for us the room was a bit noisy (we got one right next to the lifts and the staircase…which meant waking up with other guests around 7.30am every day)

Verified reviewThe pros – friendly staff, a nice pool, a spacious and well-decorated room. The kids enjoyed the mini disco and the activities organised outside from time to time like ping pong and archery. For adults, the stretching class was good. The food was OK, fairly varied. Eco measures such as providing jugs for water in the room instead of plastic bottles are a good idea.
In the room, the air conditioning barely worked at all, and the bathroom had a bad smell to it throughout our stay. The kids club itself was a sad, gloomy room with no activities laid on, just a TV playing, a few toys and some big floor cushions. At the start of the week there was virtually no shade around the pool and it took asking several different staff members before they agreed to put up some parasols a few days later. The adults pool was shut the whole tim we were there. The whole place felt very crowded and overwhelming, this was only April and I imagine it's much more busy in summer. The common areas are a bit shabby, with peeling paint etc. The hotel advertises several different restaurants available but in practice it is hard to book the ones that need booking, we found only a couple of available slots despite checking at the beginning of our week's stay. We had booked an all-inclusive deal but for one lunch were turned away from the main restaurant because there was an outside group there, and were sent to a much smaller, less nice space with no terrace, which seems like a pretty bad way to treat guests who have paid to use the hotel facilities for a week.

Verified reviewCustomer service at this location was excellent. Marrion, the guess service representative was amazing and very helpful. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. Recommend the all inclusive plus because it gives you access to the plus lounge. Plus lounge was perfect because not many opt for all inclusive plus so we was able to avoid crowds for breakfast, lunch, and snacks by going to plus lounge which only had a few people inside during each visits for our 5 nights / 6 days stay. Very intimate and private. Even though the weather wasn't the best there are plenty of entertainment besides the pools. Evening shows 2115 start time is a bit late but are spectacular. The facility is dated. Rooms are decent except for AC. Fan and AC didn't work in our first room so we requested another after first night. We saw ants and knats but again, service there is excellent an the came to spray room. The resort is not 5 star accommodation but you will get 5 star customer service which is important.

I went on a trip organised by the hotel and got stranded in the middle of nowhere. It was very traumatic for me. The hotel receptionist didn't want to know. They were heartless. I'll never forget how they made me feel.
