We loved the pool and the large outdoor space. Also it was only a couple of minutes walk to the sea. Josef was really helpful and always had time to give us advice about the local area. I would also highly recommend hiring a boat for the afternoon to explore the area. Wonderful place!!!

Fantastic owners very generous with their time and attention to details. Beautiful building with everything you need especially with a family. Space for everyone. We booked the 2 story apartment and it didn't disappoint with a huge roof terrace with 3 separate areas. The pool area is wonderful and much larger than appears in the pictures. Settled a short distance from the town with great atmosphere and restaurants lining the small bay. A must for a relaxing holiday while enjoying plenty of activities exploring this beautiful island. We will definitely be back to learn how to dive.

Villa Xemxija is a truly lovely place - calm, relaxing and quiet. Apartment was newly refurbished, was really well equipped and had a lovely balcony with view over the pool to the sea. Pool was great too. Josef was a super host - met us on arrival and had fantastic helpful suggestions on all to do within Xlendi and beyond across Gozo. Xlendi is just a few short minutes walk away and a really nice place - lovely places to swim, lots of great walks and great restaurants. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to come back again!

For reasonably expensive accommodation I was disappointed by the scrimping, including having to pay extra for air conditioning (the AC takes euro coins so you had to get change and it was too hot to sleep without AC at this time of year), having the soap dispenser in the shower so watered down and broken that it could not be used, and only receiving one roll of loo paper for four people for three nights. The combination of these things which would only cost a few euro in total made it feel like penny pinching which is disappointing for accommodation of this price point. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but were a bit disappointed by a few minor things.

Great accommodation in a gorgeous little town with great swimming spots. Apartment had a big roof terrace (though it was too hot to be out there during the day). Having a pool in the complex was a lovely bonus for when it was too hot in our apartment.

Joseph met us to give us the keys - but there is also a keybox if not possible. He also gave us great tips for our stay and arranged a car hire for us. All round incredible host!!

Very nice old villa with pool and seaview - what want one more! Plus a very nice host, Joseph (who lives in the opposite buulding) is charming and communicativ- and he got so cute dogs (Schnauzer)! We had a wonderful time in Gozo thanks to the villa and Josef's advices! Xlendi is quiet, with an easy access to coast and stunning view. We had a sea view from our balcony. The kitchen was brand new and well-equipped. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Apartment was well furnished with comfortable pull out sofa beds for the kids. The owner Josef was exceptionally warm and helpful. He made recommendations for activities, restaurants and sight seeing. He also helped organise boat hire, car hire and taxis. Having that local assistance and knowledge really made our stay.

A beautiful apartment with a great view of the pool and sea in the distance. Wonderful location and Josef, the owner, was fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. He was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Xlendi is also a jewel of a village in Gozo. Wish we’d booked for longer!!

We had the penthouse with 2 rooms and a really nice big terrace upstairs with a view of the sea. Too bad we didn’t get to enjoy that much as it was a short stay. Josef is really kind and helpful.
