The hotel is near to the beach, restaurants and shopping malls. If you like nightlife - a bunch of clubs are just a few steps away, however we weren't disturbed by the noise in our room. Bus stations also fairly close with good connection with the rest of Malta. We had a possibility of using outdoor pool and enjoyed a lot. Very close is Odissey which is a great recommendarion to learn more about history of Malta in a super exciting way - both for kids and adults. The staff is fantastic - kind and ready to help.

It is a bit pricey (174 euro per night), for what it is worth, a 3 star hotel in Malta. Considering that this is a cheap country, for that price I would expect the hotel to have an indoor/outdoor pool, free access to the gym etc (you have access to the pools/gym of the sister Intercontinental Hotel for 20 Euros per day, this is explicitly stated on their website, so no hard feelings about that, but still). The cleaning was also not on par, I saw my sheet with the same stain being tossed and turned for 8 days (not too much of a hygiene freak here, so it is ok). Considering the fact that in much more expensive countries like Finland, I stayed in hotels that are cheaper and more luxurious, the price is too much (albeit this is high season, I might understand the reasoning but still). The staff is wonderful, some of the best, competent and kindest I have seen. I am quite happy with the stay, but I don't think with these details the hotel deserves the 9 stars that it has, it is high 7s (7.5 - 7.7) for me overall. Overall quite happy, but these imho have to be pointed out.

The breakfast options were limited. There was always a queue at the coffee machine — adding an additional machine could improve the experience.

Our room was one of the connecting rooms. One morning, the guests in the adjacent room forcefully tried to open our door and somehow managed to do so. When we reported the issue, the hotel manager Maria listened to us with great care and provided an effective solution. I would like to thank her in particular. I will definitely choose this hotel again during my next visit to Malta.

There is a bar street next to the hotel. My room did not face to street but to the inside (no view of the street). Even in this case, I can still here the noise from 10 PM to about 4 AM. If you like the bar street, this hotel will be very convenient to you. If you don't, may be you can select somewhere else which is more quiet.

The only thing is that area is very busy and noisy at evening/night, but it is the location right in the center of everything so if you want party no problema at all 😃. We were with child and consider it as not a big deal as well.

The location of the hotel is in the dead center of the party place, so if you want to go clubbing it is very convenient. As there was no refrigeration in the room and we needed to keep our medicines cool, the staff was kind enough to put it in the staff refrigerator. Also we loved the swimming pool and sauna experience.

The extra gym and pool facilities were not always available during my stay. I visited the pool, but it was not very clean. As for the gym, I attempted to access it multiple times over the course of three days, but the staff was not informed of the working hours, and the key cards to access the gym entrance didn’t work. On the day I was trying, I went back and forth to the reception more than four times in just a few minutes. It would have been greatly appreciated if someone had accompanied me after seeing me struggle so many times. When I finally managed to reach the pool area, which provides access to the gym, the key cards still didn’t work. Fortunately, someone kindly let me in, but when I reached the gym, it was locked with chains, despite being told it was open. I ended up wasting more than 20 minutes. This experience was quite frustrating, and I hope improvements can be made to ensure better access and communication in the future.

Everything was great during my stay! The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable and at home. It was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, which made a big difference. The breakfast was lovely, offering a great variety of options, and the coffee was absolutely fantastic! As a coffee lover, it's not always easy to find good coffee, but here, it was really top-notch. The location of the property was also perfect. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the area and access everything I needed, from dining to sightseeing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

Our room was on the 7th floor, right below the breakfast area, so it was a bit noisy in the mornings due to guests dragging their chairs. Apart from that everything was wonderful!

Swimming pool in the other building, you have walk through multiple corridors to get there .Cards for opening the doors doesn’t always work. cockroach bite me in the sauna , very dirty and nasty place , do not recommend.
