Great location, very modern, the beds were comfortable and I loved the two balconies with clothes drying line

The key entry to the main door, you have to spin the code on the key box, it is the size of a case dial, very difficult to see at night, I was locked out when the other property above took the key, the owners think more of themselves than what is convent for the customers, I didn’t pay over 2k euros to not have a front door key, if the door code was digital without the key it would be ideal but every time coming back to the apartment having to set the code spinning around the small digits was very irritating, I asked for a spare key as I couldn’t see the numbers at night and was initially told they’d get one to me and then they said sorry we don’t have a spare key! Really no spare key for an apartment block of two?

I really enjoyed my stay! Everything was great and very clean. There were plenty of towels and even extra pillows, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival — a small gesture, but very thoughtful. The communication with the host was excellent — he responded within 10 minutes every time, which made everything easier. The location was absolutely perfect, and the view from the apartment was also beautiful.

There were just a few things that I found a bit inconvenient during my stay. First, there was no cutting board in the kitchen, which made food preparation a bit tricky. The knives were also quite dull, so it was hard to use them properly. Another small downside was that there was no option for late check-out. I ended up leaving just a minute late, but it would have been nice to have a bit more flexibility with the check-out time. These were small issues overall, but worth mentioning for future improvement.

Location, view, facilities

Street lock box not user friendly. Can't see numbers at night without a torch. Can be difficult at any time to align the correct numbers. Suggest replacing with an illuminated digital key lock. Bed or mattress was squeaky.

Having stayed in the apartment several times it never disappoints one bedroom with fabulous pull out bed in the main area. Well equipped kitchen pleasantly decorated fabulous views.

We have stayed several times now in Gem apartments, great location, lovely views great facilities apartment is mordern well equipped.

Automated correspondence is rubbish better to ring the contact number staff are extremely helpful. Speak very good English. Messaged the service centre and asked to check in early but kept getting n automated response. Then there was an issue with check in access codes not sent stated was a problem with booking. However after getting extremely frustrated rang the contact number spoke with staff wasn't an issue gained access straight away although wasted the first day of the holiday sitting around waiting

Size and layout of apartment

The bed which has been reported numerous times over the past two years was very uncomfortable and noisy. Major roadwork’s directly outside the premises which woke us up up at 6.30am and continued right through till 6.30pm . You couldn’t sit on the balcony primarily due to the noise level and dust . The drilling caused the whole building to shake . It made our stay very uncomfortable and relaxing in the apartment was impossible. Work commenced in January 2025 and should have been made aware of this!!! If you are planning staying here I would recommend you book elsewhere as work is expected to continue for months outside the apartment!!!

The apartment is large and fully equipped. Double balconies, the one at the back great for drying clothes. Plenty of places to eat or get coffee. McSims pie shop (beneath) and Starbucks (a couple of doors away) open early 7 days. Cherries takeaway and a vegan friendly coffee shop close by, very good. Three grocery stores within 5 minutes walk.

Bus stop right outside (good) but suspended for some routes including 82 (to Valletta) due to road construction. No fault of the apartment. At busy times often people standing around outside the entrance.

The smells of mold and the bed was too soft and noisy

The apartment is exactly like the photos. The kitchen had everything we need to cook our meals. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment.

There was to much noise at night. The cleanliness was not perfect.

Everything is perfect for me. This apartment is near waterfront when you stand in balcony you can enjoy the scenery with sea.

One point can improve is shower.

Very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean , has 2 balconies, and big enough.

The apartment was lovely and clean. Greatful for the AC in both rooms and the balcony for drying clothes. All modern appliances throughout. We made regular use of the washing machine. A stones throw from the beach and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Had some issues with extra bedding and the patio door but these were quickly fixed by the agency.

I really didn't like the access to the building. Having to use the lockbox entry key tied to a string to enter the building was a pain. I was travelling with my father who is short of sight and couldn't see the code. Especially as it got darker. Individual keys would have been preferable. The apartment above wasn't very sound proof. There were younger guests staying making noise until 2-3am. Could hear footsteps and chairs moving.

Location was great for us as we visited friends. Comfortable beds and everything clean. All felt new and fresh

The instructions for the key codes could be clearer. We hadn’t realised there were two key codes involved or how to open the first one. The noise of the ships engines from the freeport was annoying at night.

Stunning apartment with lovely views. Very clean and everything you want for a lovely holiday. Close to all amenities Bus stop outside front door

Modern, clean accommodation.  We felt great!  Everything is a few steps away: grocery store, bus stops, beach, restaurants.  The beach is sandy.  the view is magical!  We will definitely come again!

The apartment was really clean, and the a/c was good and quiet. The host (company) was responsive to any querries almost promptly, unfortunately not too efficient in sorting out problems.

The bed was very noisy on every tiny movement waking me up about 30 times each night. I told this to the management but was told they never heard about it. Which is sad, as there are a few similar feedback already even on this site .. suggesting they don't really care... It was also surprising how the basic amenities were provided, regardless of how long a guest stay.

Amazing location, plenty of parking space. Really modern, isolated and big apartment. Also, great kitchen. 2 airconditioning devices. View on busy road but still really beautiful because of the sea
