How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room 62 needed maintenance, the plumbing in the ceiling started leaking in the afternoon causing a massive puddle in the room, this fact alone drops my raring from a solid 9 to a generous 7
Room 62 was clean and organized. The ċocation was awesome if someonenis staying in St. Julians for the night scene

Cozy, clean and location was good with access to airport direct bus station within 5 minutes walking. Receptionists were polite and helpful. All in all was very satisfying stay.

The location was perfect near the hottest street for nightlife in St. Julian. I found a parking nearby streets. I had a late check in and after the instruction of the team they provide me with all neccesery things for self check out. The breakfast was good and standard.

The street in front of my room was quite load. I was a bit disappointent that no early checkin could be arranged (also not against a fee) - was not super clear to me if the hotel was fully booked or not.
My room was nice and the location of the hotel is very good.

The shower could have been a bit cleaner and some things were not working like the safe or the ventilation in the bathroom. Also, there is no closet to store your clothes so this might be a problem if there is a longer stay in the room.
The location is great, transportation access was very convinient to travel around. Communication is excellent and they are very helpfull with all needs. Breakfast was good , great value for the money but the best thing was the older gentleman who was responsible for breakfast tables and organization. The room was big enough and had a minibar, coffee pot and similar.

This is one of the few hotels that ask for a 20 euro deposit for the iron, and they take just ‘cash’.
The staff is good. Rooms are decent and clean, breakfast is very nice and delicious.

The second room we had had dirty sheets, the sheets were full of fluff and hair. This room also had water leaking from the shower as well as no water pressure and no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was nothing special. Most of the items were cold and selection is very limited. The person in charge of breakfast was quite rude
The property was in a good location and front desk staff were very nice. We had 2 rooms one was clean and everything worked

- Disorganise staff. - The room was very small and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. In a room for 3 people they should have 3 normal beds. - When we arrived. We did the check in but once we got to the room, it was not ready and the ladies where still cleaning it. - Also, it seemed to be confusion with the breakfast. Some days it was organised by table numbers and other days you would do whatever you want.

The green light (WiFi?) was very annoying. I needed eye shades to sleep.
Breakfast was ample but did not suit someone keen on healthy eating (eg, avoiding sugar, white bread, processed meats). I stuck to the occasional apple and dried fruit and boiled egg plus coffee. Otherwise my room was clean, comfortable, and quiet apart from the construction across the street - not within the hotel's control. Good shower. Bring a flat plug for the sink.

Hotel situated in the middle of busy St. Julian's street. You should take it into consideration if you are looking for quiet and remote place. Perfect for short stay to feel the city vibe. Very close to bus stop, restaurants, clubs, shops etc. Breakfast was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a great location with very easy access to public transport. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast manager was a great source of information, helping us to make the most of our stay in Malta.
