It was clean and the bed was comfortable , staff were so wonderful and they left you little treats / gufts every morning when they did your room . Location was fantastic across road from convenience store and chemist up the street from the bay and restaurants

We didn’t realize the patio door was interfaced with air cond that preventing it from powering on if the door was slightly open…. recommend to provide this info to future guests.

We had a room on the ground floor, on the back of the hotel. Room terrace was protected from the street and other premises with a high wall, so we had privacy and quiet. Due to the heat, it seems balcony was rarely used (we did not use it for much more than drying out beach towels), maybe the ones on the upper floor had more breeze). Room was clean, large and well lit. It had a small desk enough for one person, and a table for four in the corner. large armchair was a nice touch. Wardrobe was large, enclosing the small mini-bar type of a fridge, and there was also additional cabinet for luggage and shoes. Double bed was very comfortable, an not on direct line of the AC blow. Bathroom was also of good size with a large shower cabin. it also had a hairdryer (for some reason, hairdryers seem to be a big deal on Malta :) ) Every day there was a different treat waiting for us in the room. Usually some traditional cookie, or some local snack, with a small card describing it and giving some interesting trivia about it. The reception area was rather small, and staff was usually present in the morning, but out of that time it was available via WhatsApp. On an instance we needed them that way, they were quite responsive and replied quickly. Reception also has a bookcase with information leaflets about excursions and activities offered in the vicinity. Location is quite good, with a convenience store across the street, and harbour and center of the Marsaxlokk one block away (a minute of walk). Most of the bars and restaurants are within ten minutes of walking from the guest house. Bus stops for lines to and from Valleta and other towns are within 5 minutes of walking. Beach is a bit further away though, and St Peter pool is some 30 minutes of walking away. A good place to go to!

Very minor thing, but the AC was very strong which did the purpose of cooling down the room but hard to have it on during the night while being in the room.

Rooms were very spacious and very clean. Location was amazing. Close to the shop, restaurants and bus stops. The staff were very nice. We could leave suitcases in the lobby the last day with options to use facilities like toilets.

Convinient and quiet location. The hotel is 10 min car ride from the airport, 3 min walk from the seaside promenade. A car ride to Valetta takes approximately 20-25 min depending on traffic. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very accomodating. What striked us the most was the cleanliness of the place, the room was thoroughly cleaned and restocked every single day. We cannot recommend this place enough and we're looking forward to visit again. Thank you so much for everything!

Dun Gorg was near a variety of bus stops making travel to other areas easy. The receptionist on booking in was very friendly and helpful. We were left a complimentary bottle of wine and water and our rooms were serviced daily. The bustling market was just down the road and there was a good selection of restaurants in walking distance.

I would love to have a small carpet/ rug in the room. I would love if the courtains were able to create a complete black out. I am sure there was a reason behind it, but I would prefer if we were able to adjust the light in the balcony during night time instead of having it automatically super on.

Excellent host and staff, size of room, bathroom, comfortable mattress and we loved the location! They left a 2ltr drinking water bottle in the room which was very much appreciated!

The view was non existing and the balcony felt like a bunker or a concrete box, but we didn't use it so wasn't really important.

Everything was just perfect! We even got a big bottle of water plus a bottle of red wine. Really recommend!
