Bathroom shower was bad, every time we had a shower the whole bathroom flooded.

Really good location. Very good for the price. Had a refrigerator in our room.

There were a few ants near the fridge and bathroom which I don’t know where they came from since it wasn’t that many but still obviously not the nicest thing to notice.

All in all it was good, the beds were nice it was a spacious room with couch and TV and balcony. Even the upstairs pool lounge area was nice and clean. The cleaning staff was friendly as well.

Location near to see, port and good transport to get everywhere you want. Shops and cafes around. Were clean and good breakfast 👍

- The furnishings in the room and bathroom seemed very basic, but nevertheless, the standard-to-price ratio was very good. - My room overlooked a very narrow courtyard with lots of windows and air-conditioners, but since I didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't really mind. But I can see how it could be a downside for some.

- I loved the location within St. Paul's Bay, close to the local restaurant and party centre, as well as the coast. You can see the sea down the street from the hotel. - Very basic, but tasty buffet-style breakfast, as well as nice choice of a la carte breakfast sets. Importantly, the prices were really good! - In addition to breakfast, the guesthouse has its restaurant and I wish I'd had the time to try it, as the menu looked delicious. - I can't praise the staff enough: super friendly, helpful and welcoming, making sure I had all I needed. - A big bonus, the guesthouse offers a sense of privacy. - The neighbourhood is rather quiet, so sleeping was a breeze. - The room and the reception area were very clean.

The place is close to the sea, restaurants, city center and boat tours. We had a few problems with AC and water heater. The staff acted immediately and replaced what didn't work. We were also moved to a good room. I wish this was done before. Beds are comfortable. There is continental breakfast below in the restaurant from 7.45am. In the evening staff is not there but you can talk to them from 9 or 10 am when rooms are cleaned.

The property was what it says on the tin staff where friendly and helped with anything you wanted , it’s clean tidied daily so couldn’t possibly complain

Liked everything had a great stay.

Quiet location but close to all the facilities,bars restaurants and buses etc,very clean and a very comfortable beda,great staff and very competitive prices for food and drink,this was my 4th or 5th stay at the Buccaneers and will definitely be back if we returned to St Paul's Bay.

I only wish the drunk and loud brits wouldn’t be by the pool from the morning till the evening. But that’s not really the hotels fault, Malta is full of Those.

Having to come home

This is a beautiful family run little guest house. It is value for money. Book a family room for more space and a balcony. The beds are amazingly Comfortable. we paid an amazing price and absolutely loved the decor and the personal family touch run by family. Very welcoming and friendly. Absolutely will be back

Great value for money,nice rooms which were cleaned every day,fresh towels, staff are great,quite area but close to shops,barsand restaurants etc,this was my third vist to the Buccaneers and am going back in January,would definitely recommend.

Very good location - the sea is few minutes walk and also near Bugibba square. The place itself is very cozy and nice. My room and beds were comfortable and size just right for me. The staff lent me the power plug adapter and also wine opener with no problem when I asked:)
