Friendly staff at breakfast and reception. The hotel was in a great location. A quieter spot in St Julians, but still close to the centre of town for the buzzing nightlife. The beds were comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious in the deluxe room and clean and fresh clean towels were provided whenever there was room service which was nice. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. The poolside bar had lots of choice and service was friendly and also sold some good snacks, ice cream and was inexpensive. The pool was nice and clean. Other reviews mentioned beach towels cost money to rent, but I think this has been changed as beach towels were provided at reception at no additional cost. Air conditioning worked well.

The balcony was a bit dirty and the balcony furnishing was cheap and also not very clean. The mugs provided didn't fit under the coffee machine so despite a good coffee machine we couldn't drink any which was a bit annoying. Water bottles were provided at the beginning of stay, but it would be nice to have the carafe replaced when there is room service as the tap water isn't very nice. Would have been nice to have a plug socket next to the beds for phone charging, but this is very minor criticism. The downstairs bar was not open and seemed to be out of operation. This was part of the reason we booked and it would have been nice if that was made clear

The hotel is in a very good location, as you can get around on foot. Only at night the area was a bit noisy, but not to a very disturbing degree. The breakfast was very rich, and you could find whatever you wanted. The room was spacious, functional, comfortable and clean.

The only small issue was that the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, and unfortunately the vents can't be adjusted because they are fixed. Apart from this minor issue, everything else was very good.

The morning buffet was excellent and with a lot of options

The pool was actually pretty small( 1.2 m depth) . The room inside (deluxe) had wooden-plastic flooring on the bathroom... Who built this?? On some parta it was swollen and the bathtub glass was a mess. Also the painting on the room looked off. It was a dark green and on some spots someone obviously had repaint with a different green.

The hotel was in a good spot. Lots of restaurants, beaches near by. Breakfast was included, a rooftop pool where you can get towel if you ask for them at the reception.

They do have parking available but you had to pay to use it. Couple € per day . Which we did not use as we already have paid for the stay. Which we didn’t really like but then again not their fault .

The only plugs to charge devices were across the room, none near the beds. The Air-Con wasn't very strong. The rooms shown on the website are bright and airy, ours was dark and brown in colour.

The room was lovely and spacious. We had a small balcony which was a nice surprise. The mattress was incredibly firm but overall comfortable. The staff were happy to give us extra pillows and house keeping came to the room every day. Breakfast was nice with lots of hot and cold options. They also had plenty to choose from for a gluten free diet (fruit, yoghurt, omelettes) as well as a preprepared gluten free plate of biscuits, a muffin and some crackers. The location was really good, only a short walk from the main bus stops and Spinola bay which has lots of food options and 2 lovely swimming sports. The rooftop pool is also very convenient.

The mattress was very firm and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. The streets around the hotel were also very dirty on some days. The room could have also benefited from some more décor and storage.

The hotel enjoys a central location, just a short walk from restaurants and public transport. The rooms are spacious, and the rooftop pool is a good spot to unwind. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A highlight of the breakfast buffet was the fresh fruit... juicy, sweet, and delicious.

The area is very noisy, with a young crowd both in the hotel and around St. Julian’s. We were repeatedly woken at night by loud teens on our floor. The mattress was uncomfortable and transferred every movement. Despite being on the first floor, the shower had weak pressure. Breakfast was disappointing despite good reviews (think overcooked boiled eggs, bitter scrambled eggs, mushy tomatoes, and watery yogurt. Some guests brought their own yogurt haha). The air-conditioning was too cold and the temperature control didn’t work properly, and there were no blankets provided.

Relatively good hotel location. Close to the city center and beaches, yet slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The price-to-quality ratio does not match. The hotel itself is highly overrated. The rooms are gloomy and uninviting. The use of the air conditioning system is unclear – we had to call the staff for help, but even then, we couldn’t set a comfortable temperature. It was either too cold or too hot. The food was a complete disappointment – tasteless and lacking vegetable options. I even found a clump of hair in the mushrooms. The dining area was messy: tablecloths were not ironed, and food scraps were on the floor. The pool was very small and heavily over-chlorinated.

Clean, friendly staff, and an excellent location – everything is close to the hotel, whether you want the beach or the bus station (Ross station is nearby, which is one of the better-known and busier stations). In the evening, when you get from the hotel to Ross station, you can choose your vibe: if you want music, clubs, and nightlife, go left; if you prefer a peaceful walk by the sea, small restaurants, and a calm atmosphere, go right. I found that really interesting because there's something for everyone, yet the hotel is still tucked away from the crowds so you can enjoy your peace and quiet. The staff accommodated us by changing our room due to loud construction noise from a nearby hotel being built. We were given a room with a beautiful sea view, overlooking the pool, on the 8th floor – the view was like a postcard. We're very thankful to the staff for that. Breakfast was nice; you could order eggs in any style, pancakes, waffles, etc. – something for everyone. Clean towels for the pool were also available at the reception.

It's a great option for active travellers would like to get both leisure and activities experience: two new blocks of the same hotel (both are with roof pools, both are modern and Quadro is the very new at all), nice breakfast included, perfect location in St Julian (3 min to the bus station, walking distance to the bay and night life with bars/clubs/casinos), good wi-fi connection.

There were some troubles with air conditioning system, but the team did their best to fix eveything on time.
