The nearest public transport is 10-15 min walk. For me it was not a problem but for my mother who is 65 it was an issue. Also the public transport in Gozo could be confusing and a sometimes unreliable.

Staying in a house in the traditional architectural style for the region and experiencing the local lifestyle. Friendly and considerate hosts. Very tranquil and quiet area.

Beautiful house in a quiet area with very welcoming hosts. We had a car and felt the BnB was well located to discover Gozo. Unfortunately the weather didn't permit us to use the pool but even so it was lovely having breakfast on the veranda. Communication, check-in/out etc.was easy and the hosts are super accommodating, friendly, and helpful - we got great advice and help with on activities and how to spend our time on Gozo, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences for breakfast (vegetarian and vegan which is not the easiest so we really appreciated the effort that was made!). Thank you again and all the best!

The owner got angry when I kindly asked for an invoice and wanted to check if the bank has not taken the money already as I had to pay in cash. That made me scared and left with a bad aftertaste.

I deducted one point from my overall score for comfort, which even for the price is lacking in some areas. We booked the standard double room, and were disappointed by the mattress that we both found to be uncomfortable. This was a big deal for us. Other things are far less significant but I do wish to highlight them to help the owner make improvements or future travellers to make an informed booking. The minibar fridge was very noisy at times, not constantly but every now and then it would start making a loud buzzing. There is no sound insulation whatsoever between the rooms, so we could hear other guests speaking, their alarm clock in the morning… Nothing can be done about this, it wasn’t too important for us but I can appreciate that for some guests it would be extremely important, hence why I mention it It would’ve been nice to have been shown the billiards table when we checked in, when we wanted to use it in the evening we couldn’t find the owner to ask for it and we didn’t think to ask at breakfast.

Everywhere was absolutely spotless! Andrea cleans every single day and there isn’t a single speck of dust, mark or stain to be found anywhere. Room cleaning is daily, fresh towels were provided for us after 2 nights. Essentials are provided in the room (shower gel, hairdryer, adapters for European plugs, kettle with tea and coffee, minibar). Breakfast was great, my partner is vegan and when she asked if fruit could be provided it was, a selection of fresh fruit every day For those like me who will eat anything, breakfast is a nice spread of sweet and savoury offerings, with cold cuts, yoghurt, cereal… The espresso is very good, the regular coffee a little weak for our taste but perfectly adequate

The B&B is in a great place if you want to explore Gozo. It is close to bus stations going whichever way you need. The hosts were very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. Nearby is the city center with some great restaurants

Would have been nice to have a view out of the room but that is a minor detail, we had breakfast and went out exploring, lots of nice walks to be had.

Location was great, 20 mins walk to the best beach on Gozo and a 15 min walk to a lovely little square with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Once familiar with the area it was great. Very quiet. Nice breakfast around the pool as well

Exactly what had hoped for. A beautiful (if steep) 15 min walk down from the village to Ramla beach, The beach was really unspoilt, but had a couple of restaurants for lunch if needed. The pool was great, brisk (it was November!). Room was kept clean and the hotel was friendly. A 10 minute walk to the main square for a few great evening dinner options. All really relaxing.

We had a good time at Ad Hoc B&B. It is located within walking distance to a nice beach, the room was very nice and comfortable with a small balcony and the breakfast was very tasty with choice of croissant, fruits, yoghurt, cereals, bead and home made cake. The owner was friendly and helpful.

What a little gem, really lovely traditional B and B with a friendly host who served us an excellent fresh continental breakfast. It is situated quite central for the island which makes all the must see places just a short drive. It is a 15minute walk to a delightful town square at Xaghra with some great restaurants selling fabulous food. The best beach on Gozo is Rambla which is approximately 5 minutes by car. Parking is on street but is very quiet so there was always a space outside the B and B.
