The bathroom could do with a little TLC, our shower wasn't draining properly and the bathroom did flood (sorted immediately by reception and maintenance), the shaving mirror was hanging off the wall and needed to be propped up by a flannel, and there is no extractor fan so it gets quite hot and steamy.

Great location, so easy to get to the bar and restaurant hot spots and convenient to nip back where evere you are in the city. Beds are extremely comfortable, rooms are very quiet. Staff at check in and breakfast were extremely friendly and attentive.

We did not suffer but the hotel should state that there are very limited sun beds by the roof pool. Some guests could not use this facility as they had hoped.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in Malta and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make my stay comfortable. The location was ideal—close enough to explore everything but peaceful enough to relax and unwind. Every morning started with a delicious breakfast, and I especially appreciated the local flavours and fresh produce. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality—it’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. I left feeling relaxed, well cared for, and already planning a return visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Malta.

The breakfast while nice, is only cold food, so some hot options would be appreciated but we're really just being picky here - it was delicious and the service was great!

The staff at 66 Paul are lovely, they helped us book some restaurants and made us extra croissants in the morning. We also received prosecco on arrival. The location of the hotel is excellent and the rooms are comfortable, clean and bright (even ours which faced the courtyard).

Shower leaked through bottom of the door - needed more towels to soak it up. Minor issue and specific to one room which I am sure they will sort.

We loved this hotel. Locality, so close to 'walking only' areas of Valletta and where ferries leave for Gozo & Comino. Staff (especially Vlado and Max) incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions on important historical sites to see. Breakfast is all home baked on site and was superb.
