Reviews of Village Ste luce - Olivera Studio

The apartment was a 2nd floor unit of a nice family friendly resort on the south of Martinique. Parking was easy - we rented a car from Fort de France and stayed here for a couple of evenings before a cruise. The resort felt very safe, with clientele consisting of mostly French families. We were the only Americans but the staff spoke great English for the few conversations we needed to have. The pool area was nice with beautiful views. You could also walk down to the beach if so inclined. In the evenings, we could hear music from the resort restaurants - this was not bothersome but we felt added to the ambiance. We did not eat at the restaurants so I cannot comment on their quality. Instead, we ate using the outdoor patio / kitchen using ingredients from the Carrefour grocery store down the road. We thought the kitchen was well-stocked with the tools you needed to cook a quick bite. The room was clean and perfectly sized for the two of us.

I was nervous when I did not have the code from the owner until the morning of the stay, and I did not expect to have cellular data in Martinique. However it was communicated as expected and I should not have worried.
