We had a little trouble with check-in as the keycode listed on booking wasn't correct. We quickly resolved the issue by calling the host on Whatsapp but it would have been a problem if we didn't have a phone plan that worked on the island. Maybe just be proactive and confirm with the hosts a day or two before you fly out. I don't think this will be an issue for most people, but some of the other guests were pretty noisy. We visited for about a week over New Years and had the place to ourselves for most of the visit, but for a few nights right around New Years the other apartments filled up (I assume the other guests were all locals looking to stay somewhere with a pool since they were driving non-rental cars). On NYE they partied out by the pool with a very loud speaker system until about 8:30 PM but they turned the speaker off, which allowed us to get our little girls to sleep), then they moved into their apartment and the noise wasn't too bad. The next night, we were awoken at 3 AM (on January 2nd) by the same group of 7-10 guests having a late night pool party. My wife went out and asked them to quiet down and they did. They were nice enough, just 20 somethings looking to party. When my wife messaged the host to express her concern about noise, the host responded back to say, in part, "I find it a shame that you were not able to be in this perspective of experiencing the end of year celebrations according to Martinican traditions". All that to say that you'll most likely have a peaceful stay here but just be warned that if you are staying over a holiday then it could get pretty rambunctious as the hosts seem happy to rent out the apartments as party pads.

The property was clean and a good value if you're looking for a place with both a pool and a view. We were in the "Sunset" apartment which had a nice view, although if possible you should book the "Piton" apartment as it has a superior view overlooking the lights of the capital and the mountains to the north. You're in a rural area up on a hill so it was generally peaceful. We were traveling with little kids so it was great to have a pool and the pool area was clean and well maintained. Given its positioning, it only seems to get sunlight in the mid-morning to early afternoon so the water was a little chilly when you first get in but you adjust quickly. As you can tell from the map, you aren't near a beach but you can see the ocean. All the beaches we visited (which were excellent) required drives of between 30-50 minutes although there did seem to be beaches that were closer. So guests mentioned noise from the airplanes overhead but that didn't bother us at all. Overall, I'd be happy to return although my wife isn't of the same opinion (see below).
