“Le Colibri Vert was by far the best accommodation that we experienced in Martinique, and it was a delightful exception to the average vacation rentals closer to the beach areas. The property is as beautiful as show in the pictures (no Photoshop), the two large terraces are great and the location (constant breeze in a valley of the island interior) provides a nice temperature even without aircon. The hosts were great and friendly and gave a nice personal touch to our stay by welcoming us personally and providing home-made welcome amenities (hot chocolate, oven-fresh bread, fruits etc.) to our kids and us. The beach (Plage du Carbet, which is excellent) is 10 minutes by car and we found that it was absolutely no hassle to reach the sea - again, a much better choice than the average vacation homes on the island, especially those managed by property management companies.”
