  “A comfortable appartment in the ground floor of a house rather high on a slope. Refreshing breeze and not too many mosquitoes despite the humid air. Large shady terrace all for yourself. Wonderful hosts, nice and helpful when you need them and almost invisible the rest of the time. Case-Pilote might not be the most interesting town on the island, however there is a shop, a nice bakery, a few bars and restaurants and a post office. A great starting point to explore the north-western part of the island that is the least crowded and the most interesting with regard to history/geology/nature.”
