It appears that broken items such as microwave ovens and USB cables are not being repaired immediately. Accommodation and tour fees are quoted in US dollars, but when we actually paid in Mongolian currency, the exchange rate was not good. (We paid this hostel on the same day we paid another hostel at a better rate.) When paying in cash in both dollars and Mongolian currency, the exchange rate is not clearly quoted.

It was new and clean, and the view from the window in room 1 was great.

The soundproofing of the walls isn’t great. There should be some sort of sign outside. It’s not easy to find.

Good location; I stayed here before and after a roadtrip around the country and it was adequate for my purposes and I’d stay again. My room was comfortable and the shared shower was fine. It’s not a fancy place but for the price it’s good value.

Great location close to the department store. It was clean and secure. Staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. They offer a transfer service from the airport which was reasonable and worthwhile since it may be hard to find otherwise. Please see pic of the building, it's at the end of the road.

The only issue was to find the place. As there are no signs in the street, I needed help from a guy in the nearby bar to call the Hostel and ask staff to find me, (10pm with -10ºC)

I missed breakfast because I overslept, but overall, the accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. There were malls, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which made getting around very easy. I also really appreciated being able to arrange a taxi to the airport through the staff on the day of checkout. Thank you! The 8 photos are provided for other guests’ reference, showing the route from the building exterior to the entrance, then to the 4th floor by elevator, and finally down to the 3rd floor (where the room is) via stairs.

Staff - Laidback, helpful, and speak good English. Location - It's on a side street close to the main street, so it's quiet, but you're close to the action. I practically walked everywhere. There are banks, shops, restaurants, and a huge mall right around the corner. Great location. Room - Exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had huge windows that let in a lot of natural light. The wifi and hot water all worked well, and the electric bidet with heated toilet seats will change your life. Tips: Currently, the price of an official taxi from the airport is around 100,000 turgiks ($29). I believe the hostel's airport shuttle service is cheaper. Also, you can find 50% off cashmere clothing on the 3rd or 4th floor in the mall around the corner. I think it's called the "State Department Store."

Maybe some better signing outside would be helpful. Coming first time, especially in the dark, it’s a little confusing.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever seen. Spotless clean, modern, convenient, very good location, comfortable, quiet. Price is very reasonable, regular for the hostel but unusual for this kind of quality of stay. Staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Speak good English.
